Got bit by the acoustic bug a few months ago(origanally an electric player) .....bought a beautiful art and luthier americana.....was gonna take it camping and such but I just love to much......so now I'm in the market for a cheaper full size dreadnaught so i can just buy one hardshell case.....there is so many budget friendly options out there now I feel like my head is about to explode. Good work guys.
It's the best comparison I've heard on guitars in that price range, you guys are great. No matter how much I listen to it, the Fender and the Martin sound the same to me, as if they were the same guitar. All other guitars sound different from each other. In the full version of the video you give 7 points to the sound of the Martin and 3 points to the sound of the Fender. Maybe in person it is perceived differently or maybe it's because one is Fender and the other is Martin.

Eastman E1D is the winner here. The Yamaha did sound really good for the money as well, but All Solid Wood (the E1D) all the way!

I agree and the Yammie for the win ... as an Alvarez fanboy I would have liked to see an AD30 in the comparison.

The clarity, richness, and depth of the Yamaha actually surprised me.
My top three are the Martin, E1D, and Breedlove
For the sound I'm looking for, the warm & deep tones of the Ibanez & Eastman 1D sounded best for bluegrass! Thanks!!!

That Yamaha surprised me. I agree with Carole: it and the E1D were about equally impressive.

Eastman E1D sounded the best. Behind it are the Eastman PCH1D and Yamaha fg830.
