DAMN my friend!! Sorry about the mishap, but as I mentioned in a different video of yours is that luckily you know how to work on these. Sure it's a bit frustrating but you take it in great stride and figure out how to fix her up. If it was me..... probably be tossing a 56 year old temper tantrum!! 😀 Watching a bunch of your vids on a lazy Sunday morning since coming across your channel, and they are quite entertaining and also for a newbie like me I'm learning a lot from your repairs and swapping to get ideas for myself. So thanks for taking the time making these.
Tough luck bud. Going at high speed and sudden stops causes alot of damage for sure. I tend to take my infraction to big wide open parking lots now because of that lol. I subbed! You seem like a good dude laid back personality 👌🏼🍻
@bigbristv Yeah my go to spots are super market parking lots at night as they tend to sweep them alot and also another place to check is industrial areas on the weekends like Coca cola, FedEx and places like that. Usually wide open areas and pretty good pavement 👌🏼
@bigbristv Snow tomorrow?? No problem bro! Hey That's funny you say there because same here, tomorrow snow lol. Are you in the Northeast? I'm in Rhode Island and we're supposed to get a pretty decent one lol. Things had just started to look better the past 3-4 days too!
@@cwatson42785 yup, NYC. It's full on out here right now. I need to figure out a way to hook up a blade to my Mojave! RI is nice, I was up there a while back when I sold a VW Cabriolet to a nice young lady and delivered it to her. Woonsocket I believe. Also did a BMW interior swap in Newport.
I'm not sure how true this is but, I heard that if you hit stuff, stuff breaks. After searching the internet for confirmation I stumbled across a forum post in an archive of a BBS from the late 70's that said the fix for this was ....don't hit stuff. Frankly I thought it sounded insane. But then I like fixing broken stuff more then playing with it. At least it seems that way cause the ratio of fixing/playing is about 80%/20%. "0_o"
Gee bro that's crazy.... Didn't even look that bad of a crash, to do damage like that..... I hope you get her fixed up real soon man. And bk out ASAP. Break that 73 mph..... Maybe a slightly safer location tho...😂... Thanks for sharing. ❤
Sorry about the infraction, been there and it sucks. Will need a larger spot to help build up speed better. Them esc's will always cut unless you have space and a smooth and slow throttle pull.
@@bigbristv Yeah, I drop that punch down all the way. You can also throw some timing at the motor as well. Just watch your gearing. You be able to get slightly better speeds with less gearing.
@speeedy_rc you know, that's what I've been seeing. Better speeds with less gearing. I think maybe they knew the 26t pinion was the highest one could go without issues. Especially when it comes to heat.
@speeedy_rc that's what I was hoping with the 27t pinion on the vendetta. Imma try it on the Infraction then put them both back to general hooning spec.
I rewatched it in slo-mo and it turns out it was the ma hole cover I hit that threw it off course! Anyway, she's back in effect and ready for more! www.arrmaforum.com/threads/it-happened-again.68536/#post-1048400
That's bad luck man. Those Spektrum esc's doesn't seem to like speedruns. I have most experience with castle esc's and always set the lvc to 3.3 for bashing or disabled for speedrun. Never had lvc problems during speedruns. Except if I had a bust cell in the battery.
Pretty tight space for speed runs. Sorry for your loss.
I know, 😅 I had to take her out to the beach parking lot. Thanks Bill!

Thanks! I wouldn't be mad if you watched all of my vids 😁
2024 & American guy is surprised a plastic lost vs metal fence or whatever it was. You seen what u had, you seen it's speed, well done.
😂

I appreciate it bro. I'm looking for wide open spots to run but it seems like imma have to do midnight runs 😄

@cwatson42785 good tips, all. I've been looking around. Too bad we're looking at snow tomorrow. I might have to go OT 😄

😶🤔🤣👏
I snapped the chassis in half on my 3S Typhon , same jumps on same day with rustler and it was fine , and the rustler is older .
Maybe I should switch to Traxxas 🤔
🤣👍
@@bigbristv they ALL break , just the experience I’ve had. No brand snob here 😎

Bro! I never thought I'd walk up and see that. Similar to what happened to my Mojave. SMH. Yeah, I need a new spot 😂
Bro he was going from speed to a sudden stop lol. That's a recipe for disaster. It looked pretty bad to me. Plus fsctor in the colder weather.

Yup. And I realized I had both the Vendetta and Infraction on punch 5 which is a no-no for speed runs apparently.

@@bigbristv Yeah, they play it super safe with their esc's. They give you some tuning capabilities but very limited.

sounded like a tire gave up right before it spun out

Oh snap! High risk High reward.
It’ll happen. patience.
Thanks Randy!

I'm starting to think they don't. I'll keep at it but yeah, I may have to switch.
Damn man 😢
😒
it‘s an arrma 3s… ofcourse it brakes
Pun intended or did you mean breaks? 🤔
😄👍
i'm scared to broke my senton like that😂
You drive pretty smooth especially in snow 😁👍
@@bigbristv thank you 😄
