On point brutally frank both Vice and James. Their honest comment should be appreciated because these would serve as a valuable and a great tip for Fatima to hone her full talent to reach its peak. She already has such great vocal skill at her young age, just imagine what she can do if she mastered the art of connecting and baring her soul sooner that later. Singing is an art form not just pure technique or science. Artistry is about learning new thing about yourself and becoming a better version of oneself from lessons learned from others not just with your limited personal experience. It will be so exciting to watch Fatima as she gets better and find her own niche. All of the top 10 are talented and will be a great addition to our pool of young talents.

I think it's not necessary for Vice to compare. It's okay to comment negatively on Fatima, but comparing was NOT necessary. It's not like battle lang siya between Fatima and Dan. Pwede naman mag-criticize without comparing.

Di ko naman sinasabing bawasan nya kailangan nya lang piliin kung san ilalagay nagustihan ko nga yung climax part nya eh teknikal pero emosyonal ganon din sa simula kaso may ibang part lang talaga sa gitna na dapat di nya nilagyan ng vocal acrobat to show she want to express more than impress. To be honest, I think Idol Philippines should change their commentary section to individual instead of by 2's. In American Idol, that's how they do it in order to avoid comparisons. It's okay to be harsh and honest but it should've been done individually not in comparison to another contestant. Nicki Minaj, Simon Cowell etc. were harsh judges in AI but they say negative comments individually not comparing them to another contestant on the show. P.S I am a big fan of Dan Ombao ever since The Voice but I think it is unfair for Fatima to be compared to him because they have different styles and genre.

Hey vice, judges are bound to speak objectively so you should focus on the performance itself. hindi ka dapat magcompare because if you start doing it, it will only show na subjective ka at may bias ka jan sa lahat at pag nanalo yon makukwestyon lang ang pagkapanalo nya, ang iba pang judges at ang show mismo. Just stop comparing vice! It's okay to be straightforward.

I just want you to know that comparison is another thing, yes you may use it to determine who is more deserving but you can't just use it as comment as being JUDGE. judges are entitled with their opinion but has no right to degrade one's performance. Change the way you think it's already 2019 and you are still a filipino with toxic traits
Btw to add more. As a judge it is better to be STRAIGHTFORWARD but don't ever compare. To be a judge is to be a part of molding one's dream especially the aspirants.
He's a judge but he doesn't have the rights to compare. Since judge nga sya, dapat magfocus sya sa what is good and what should improve sa performance ni fatima and any advice or suggestion na makakpagimprove sa next performance. To be compared is the worst feeling nakakababa ng confidence yan. Sana alam yan ni vice. It's better to be straightforward but atleast don't compare one singer to another. Idol ko si Dan, pero parang masyadong bias ung comments. kahit di malakas ung performance ni fatima ngayon di naman cguro dapat e compare cya kay Dan, di namn to battle rounds na parang cla lang dalawa ni Dan ang nag lalaban. Tama ung nag comment na dapat e judge muna ung kakatapos lng mag perform bago ung susunod.
Btw, I'm a fan of Dan since The Voice PH.
This is why two contestants should not be in one stage receiving comments at the same time. Other one will be automatically left out. Why not comment Fatima first, tell her what you judges was thinking right after she performs. For sure it will go a different way for fatima. By the way, i am not a fan of hers, but just speaking reality here. It’s just unfair for her. Very bad production ABSCBN.

Ok maiba lang ng comment. That's life experience coming through kaya Dan is very effective in conveying this bigo at sawi na kanta. Yan ang wala pa sa mga likes nila Sheland, Fatima, Zeph. So they either have to wisely choose a song na hindi masyadong mabigat at babagay sa kanila (Zeph is doing this so far kaya nag-eexcel sya!) OR they really have to exert enough effort para i-act out yung emotion.
And this comment is on point. Magagaling ang tatlong bata na to. Emotion lang talaga kulang. Maybe because bata pa sila and wala pa masyadong experiences in life. But with proper coaching, they can improve.

Comparing is one of a judge disciple, debale mostly pilipino puro lang satsat
some people here are saying that dan shouldn't have reached this point of the competition. Insecure lang teh? If dan wasn't good in ghe first place then why does the people keep voting for him. Take note, not just merely voting but the people always make it to a point na he would at least top the weely rankings. Dan is really a good singer cause he knows how to connect. Good thing den na he is breaking this notion na if singing contest, usually it is about birit, whistle, and all that. U can't put a good man down. He have proved his goodness since day 1. After that 'nalimutan yung lyrics' incident sa do or die round, he really excelled in the live rounds and he proved that he is deserving for the spot. Just like fatima, she didn't stood up last time but then she made it to the top 8 for her to prove herself. There will always be storm cause nothing is really perfect but what's important is you stand up and prove yourself that u cam do better.

He's the one who told Fatima to sing ballad which is not her genre, actually sya pa nga yung dahilan kung bat di naibigay ni fana yung hundred% nya. Fatima could have done better if di nya sinunod yung advice ni Vice.

Hindi naman siguro offended comments ng mga judge. Nagawa lang nila yun para sa susunod mas maipakita pa ng contestant yung best at mabago nila yung hindi tama, ikanga learn to your own mistake. Sana alam mo vice na comparison ay may malakinh epekto sa voting decisions ng mga tao. Dahil sobrang naha-hype ang isa hbang yung isa bumababa ang pagtitiwala ng mga tao. Alam mo naman na included ang public votes so don't manipulate the viewers mind by doing comparison. Kung nagustuhan mo o hindi just say it straightforward it's your choice of it will be harsh or constructive but don't ever compare so people could think.

@@heyitsmg6689 it's not supposed to be like that, it works in showbiz and the one who does comparing is only the casual viewers, judge si vice and ang mga judge focus lang dapat sa performance kung anong maganda kung may mali, dapat iimprove and advice or suggestions para sa ikabubuti ng performance nya na iyon. Ang pagcompare ay maling mali di yan gawain ng tunay na judge.
@@emmanuelesantiago622 it's good to be straightforward but choose the right words pwede mo sabihin ang mali nya in harsh way if you think he/she needs it. But, don't ever compare. Hindi yun gawain ng judge. Juges are bound to speak objectively kapag nagcompare sya pinapakita nya na may bias sya at hindi maganda bilang judge yun dahil kukwestyunin ang credibility mo as a judge at pwede nang show mismo.
