Hello Shane , I was at Karonie 1977 working for the ANR , No 2 recond gang , Our camp train was just off the main line on a spur line which went to the Ballast mine , which was worked by Readymix at that time , there were rumours that there was gold and opals found during the mining opp , also there was a large single cyl motor at the dam , alot larger than the one You found .... Cheers keep the videos coming ...Dave ....
Welcome back! I did not know that there was a tool for cleaning the washer nozzle. I just ordered one (click and collect of course!). So not only are you providing great lockdown entertainment but great information as well.
Thanks Michael. I have one of those tools in the paj and thought max should have one too. Better than a kalgoorlie t-spoon 🤣 i hope your lockdown pain ends soon. Take care and be safe.
@@shanethesharkcaver Thanks Shane. We should be free of lockdowns by Xmas so we can at least see our kids. Sounds like we can't get back to WA until April 2022 though. Great time to get all the home maintenance jobs don and the garden is in great shape. Lucky Bunnings do a good job with click and collect. I am there at least twice a week. Picked up my washer nozzle cleaner today from Supercheap.
Ripper video Shane, as expected. Really liked the night sky photo...!. And your right, GEOCACHING has taken us to some absolutely amazing locations. Look forward to the series from up north. Cya mate👍

Hey Dave, that's awesome info, thanks so much from a fellow railman. I would love to explore the line in more detail one day.

Another good one Shane. What month did you do this trip mate?
This was April/May. Was going to be a 10 day trip until Perth went into lockdown, so I stayed a little longer 🍺
