Wiggle proof back carry with a woven wrap. Back carries should only be done with NON-stretchy wraps. Never do a back carry with a stretchy wrap 5m woven from Cosy Baby, Happy Mommy www.cosybabyhap...
omg.. i have been going around looking for a good video on the back carry and I just cant get any of them.. this is the best one yet and simple thank you!!
Thank you for sharing this video, I will be using this technique real soon!! It will be easier now that I can see this way of doing it as well as the fact that sometimes things just get twisted. Thank you for not redoing it and leaving the twisting issue out, so helpful!!!
I agree HeartOnMySeeve77 clearly DiscoBiskitts has no kids. They don't understand that you can't do everything while carrying a baby on your hip, or how it throws the hip out of place, or the fact that now the baby is close to mom no matter what she is doing and she can get things done around the house and the baby is learning how to do things as well as being close to mom and carried... Yep, we are just lazy moms when we are doing things as well as carrying our baby around. Power to the 'lazy'!
Been wanting to wear my son again on my walks to get an extra workout in but it's too much in front. I'm gonna try this one again tomorrow. Not a long walk but to pick up my other son from school!
Maybe you mentioned this in another video, possibly? But wondering, is it safe to be standing up when wrapping the baby on your back before it's secure? I ask because I've tried doing back wraps with my son but he wiggles every time, and I'm so fearful he will tumble onto the ground that I stop. I haven't been able to get it yet.
You forgot to mention that babywearing is also good developmentally. The babies/toddlers can then see what Mom/Dad are doing, and it stimulates their minds in healthy ways. :-)
"This seems like cruel and unusual for her." WHAT? Did you estimate that from the calm demeanor and smile on her face? Clearly, you don't have kids. "Why don't you just carry her?" That's what she's doing Einstein and in a way that is ergonomically better for both baby and mom.
It's obvious you don't know much (if anything) about attachment parenting and baby carrying. I suggest you'd better get more information before you leave such comment.
Not only are you Ignorant, but really rude! No, it's not cruel. Cruel is leaving them to cry because you have a lot of things to do and can't carry them. Babywearing solves those things and parents can get things done while baby is in close contact content and cozy.

Thank you so much. First back carry where my 4 month old stays high enough and doesn't fuss. Awesome! :)

Where did you get that beautiful wrap?
did you dye yourself? What is the name of this beautiful wrap?
Too funny Erin - I'm looking different way to wrap Brin, and I came across your AWESOME video... gorgeous you are! Hope I can get as good at wrapping!
how on earth do you get the baby to stop wiggling while you are trying to wrap them?!?
es la costumbre
Looks a lot like the back wrap cross carry I use with my LO. The most comfortable carry for us, by far:)
Thanks for posting this. Just did it with my 10 month old, first try :)
I have a feeling "DiscoBiskitts" was a troll, and properly smacked down. ;) haha
what type of fabric is that?
Hi, what kind of wrap do you have in this video? The nati wrap I got is so thick and I thought I'd be getting one like yours. I like how thin it is

I read to do it over a bed when beginning
usually means you lean forward too far. The child then compensates that by lifting the head and chest.
Thanks Ashley! This is a Cosy Baby Happy Mommy woven magic wrap.
how old is your daughter? how much did she weigh?

Great demonstration- thank you!

My baby keeps trying to lift her head and chest while I'm trying to wrap her!
yup that's how my grandma did it :) great video
I'm trying this, but I have a leg straightner that gets her arms free up top. :(
Winderful thank you :)
Things aren't always as they seem :)
Afrikan pride!
