just for clarification Oak, the Imperius curse is one of the unforgivable curses that allows the caster to completely control the victoms actions, so the way the curse works in the game is when you cast it on an enemy that enemy who is now under the imperius curse will be your ally for a short period of time - so it will attack your enemys. This can be exceptionally useful when casting the curse on the stronger enemys for example you have a big fight against 1 troll and a few goblins or pouchers, simply cast the imperius curse on that troll for example and the troll will attack the other enemys and wipe the floor with them lol. The reason why that goblin that attacked Anne was killing itself is because it was under the imperius curse cast by Sebestian, Sebastian probably commanded that goblin in his mind to end its own life and yes that could technically work on humans too, you can do or order whatever you want with your victoms, that's why it is unforgivable really dark things can be done with this curse. But there is a way to learn and resist the imperius curse Harry himself learned it in the books but it requires a lot of practice and willpower. Little trivia here about the imperius curse sorry for the long text lol

I am dyyyying at how you solved delivering the dragon egg. Took me so many tries, but the way you’re “supposed” to solve it (I assume) was to crouch behind the stacks of bricks or whatever those are, and time your running to the dragons fire breath - incase you were curious of how to not get flamed! You just rolled right on through 😂 love it. Did not mess around.
Yeaaaaah❤❤❤❤ For the chest under the bridge, you need to light all the fire places at thebridge and go to the end of brigde and on the floor is a circle that indicTes what symbol/numer is at each fire and the it opens. Good luck ❤❤
➡️That building with the chest and bag in the attic that you think there is no way to get to does have a ladder on the inside. You kept missing it. It's to the left of the ground level entrance. Don't feel bad. Most people miss it and it even took me a frustratingly long time to figure it out as well. It's easy to miss. 🪜 And since we are on the subject of chests that you can't seem to reach; The one at the Hogwarts viaduct is a puzzle you have to solve. If you do it at night I suggest you use Lumos so that you can look at the puzzle more properly. Remember to look all around. Including up and down for clues and answers.

Welcome back Oak, a couple of tips for you you can progress from night to day from the map using wait..good for keeping quests in daylight so its easier for us all to see.. you can turn objects you levitate using the d pad.. makes orientation easier for puzzles.. your combat is seriously good now btw

You were given a choice to stay and look around for a bit longer but you chose to leave. Oh well. You gotta remember to Revelio everywhere while doing all of the quests. You missed a lot of good stuff. I do have to admit that I am impressed on how fast you ran through the dragon attack. You were supposed to dodge and crouch behind short walls and time your run. But heck, what you did worked just fine. You made it through. Kudos to you. LOL! 🐲 ⬅️❗️

One advice I have that might help when going into the Swamp Viverium; Because it's so dark in there I do suggest you conjure lighting torches. You might have some available to you. And it does help a lot when it comes to being able to see around and also look for your beasts. It will be a far less strain on your eyes. 😉 🪄💡🔦🕯🪔

I don’t worry about the dueling feats and the people respawn in the camps and stuff. Once you see it marked off on the map you don’t need to go back. There will aways be people to fight. I can’t wait for you to meet Penny 😁
Hi Oak! I feel like you didn’t get to see the FULL effects of imperio, so here’s what happens and how to effectively use it (kind of a game changer). If there are two enemies, and you imperio one of the enemies, the imperio’d enemy will start fighting the other enemy and stop fighting you - they will basically be on your side while they have the cursed green x on them. This works ESPECIALLY well if you are farther away or on a cliff and cast the spell below you, you can imperio someone while kind of being hidden, they will take each other out and you get to watch a fight happen without putting in the work. Doing imperio to LARGE trolls in a group of other enemies is incredibly helpful. That’s one less troll you get to worry about for the time being. Imperio of course works in the middle of battle, but aim for an enemy who is near another enemy - just seems to work better in my opinion when I’m more out of sight (sometimes that’s not possible). Best of luck continuing with your journey!!
You can throw loyalist’s disarmed weapons back at them. When you use expeliarmis, their weapon will be knocked from their hands and you can throw it back at them with R I believe. It’s my favorite spell against the goblins.
Yay, glad to see this pop up on my feed. For gear traits, just do whatever suits your gameplay. My first time, I just used the one that adds a little to all spells. Then I played around and used level 3 chomping cabbages on all 6 items. Then I did ancient magic 3 on everything and became pretty much invincible. Whether you decide to use ancient magic on gear or not, I recommend you work offline to collect all your ancient magic spots. There are some great walkthrough videos for that. You'll get 5 ancient magic slots eventually which can really help with some of the bigger battles. At 52 mins - the ladder is just inside the door to the left. You looked everywhere but there. At 1:30:00 - it might have been mooncalves that wouldn't show up until it's truly nighttime. Your main map will shop you which beast den contains which beast. For the speech marks you saw, these can be a professor who has some more dialogue if you talk to them. It's not necessary but you can get some good info from them. For chests, the mini map sometimes has a little arrow to show if they're above or below you.
Try using a talent point on the transformation spell upgrade, when using the transformation spell it normally turns foes into barrels. If you upgrade it, then it turns people into exploding red barrels. To be able to get to those collection chests in the Viaduct Bridge, look on the manhole with the symbols and numbers. It is a bit easier to solve at daytime when you can read the manhole cover.
Hey Oak. The transfiguration spell just turns them into a barrel temporarily. If you hit them while in barrel form they break and die. There is a perk to change them into a fire barrel that explodes when hit and does damage to nearby enemies. Hope that helps. GG and great vids.
Oak, when you had the dueling feat “hit an enemy with a glacius blast” that’s different than just hitting them with glacius. The “blast” part happens when you hit a frozen enemy and see the shards of ice flying everywhere. You need to hit another separate enemy with that blast. Hope this helps!
You can throw back the rocks that trolls throw at you...lots of damage to them with that. Also, I can be used to throw weapons back at goblins when you disarm them. Please...go claim your rewards in the challenges. You have a LOT of stuff you looked at but never claimed. If I recall correctly, you have finished (or nearly finished) several challenges, but not claimed them, so they aren't reflecting as completed.😊
Oak's Hufflepuff loyalty is showing. Hufflepuff loyalty is scary. It is focused and unbending. Unlike Gryffindor where our loyalty is to causes or a often a flexible code or Ravenclaw where loyalty is to logic and reason or Slytherin where it is to themselves and their drive, Hufflepuffs will cross any line and even their own moral judgement in order to stay loyal to their focus. Hufflepuffs are not to be underestimated for this is where their badgery fierceness comes from. Oak's loyalty is obviously to the animals first, then probably Dek and the house elves, and then Poppy and Sebastian's sister. And if casting Unforgivables and taking money will help the animals, a Hufflepuff would make those sacrifices.

You can do multiples of the traits, they do stack, but they do vary quite a bit in strength. Some are powerful enough that more than one or two is just overkill, while others you need multiple to really notice a difference. I like a to keep things kind of balanced myself, so I usually go with 2 Control III, 2 Ancient Magic III, and then 2 of either herbology III or Unforgivable III depending on if I'm doing dark magic or not on the character. Try using the transformation spell on random animals out in the world, cows, deer and such, it's pretty hilarious.
Also on the map the pergamins with question marks are field gide pages😢 you are too fast doing revelio and you dont look enough around 360 when you do revelio so you dont see it.
Oak I think you need to pay more attention to the story, not just the fights. And importantly a refresher on the unforgivables - they’re there to test you and what you stand for. Using Imperio on Ominis (aka taking away his free will) who’s only trying to save Sebastian from going down a seriously dark path is surely a bigger morality quandary than taking people’s stuff/coins laying around (which are there and meant to be taken by the character).
You think you claimed all rewards under "challenges" but you haven't. Everyone in red is not claimed and I saw you had a lot of them. You have to click them, not just hover ☺️
If you weave in traits and they are the same, the power stacks! I always use Herbology I, II, & III; my plants are DEADLY!!! My plants are more destructive than Avada Kadavara because cabbages hit more than one opponent.
That scene at 3:15:15 is part of why I just can't trust Sebastian. He's all nice and friendly till you don't go along with his views and then he lashes out at you. Just like he insists lying to Ominious is for his own good and uses you to get what he wants. I just can never be sure if he's genuinely behaving a certain way or just acting like it to manipulate you. Going all the way back to your first meeting when he say's he likes having "friends" in his debt or that you'll need to tell him the truth eventually in case you need him. To him all Goblins are evil even after seeing that wizards are working with them and other goblins are suffering at their hand. How hard is it to see him acting the same way towards all muggles or all mudbloods. He is a very divisive character most people either love or hate.
➡️You keep forgetting that you have the Winguardian Leviosa spell. The yellow spell with the feather icon is the Levioso spell. That will only levitate an object up only. But Winguardian Leviosa is the Blue spell with the wand and feathers icon. Winguardian Leviosa will not only let you control where you want to put an object but also lifts Heavy object like the Merlin Trial bolders balls. Winguardian Leviosa will also let you spin the object and flip it to the direction you want it to face. 🪄
Don‘t know if u already know or if someone already told u but in every enclosure there is one chest with thingy to decorate ^^ (again if i remember correctly it‘s been a while since i played)
2:30:00 Bro, what! You can rotate the blocks while in the air?! I spent such a long time in that treasure vault, trying to turn the blocks the right way using Depulso over and over and over. Bodyblocking the thing so it wouldn’t fall down and instantly reset to its position with the arrow pointing up. I HATED THAT TREASURE VAULT and my boy Oak just comes in AND ROTATES THE DAMN THING WHILE IT’S IN THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sebastian is... problematic. He did not need to use the unforgivable curse to save Ann, he chose to when another spell would have done the trick much as easily. He will no matter what as someone drawn to the dark arts keep making excuses for his choices, and is blaming it on the situations and never taking accountability. That is a sort of person you best stay away from.

I think there was a bug when I played this and I used confringo and blew up the whole house lol. Found the ladder afterwards.
You have to complete the puzzle ON the bridge to open a ladder to the chest below. You got part of the puzzle done when you lit the one fire.

You should really prioritize the ancient magic hotspots over Merlin trials at this point. The extra ancient magic is helpful during fights.

Make sure you check behind some fireplaces 👀 try glacius on anything on fire to see if it provides a secret!

Going all the way back to your first meeting when he say's he likes having "friends" in his debt or that you'll need to tell him the truth eventually in case you need him. To him all Goblins are evil even after seeing that wizards are working with them and other goblins are suffering at their hand. How hard is it to see him acting the same way towards all muggles or all mudbloods. He is a very divisive character most people either love or hate.

The yellow spell with the feather icon is the Levioso spell. That will only levitate an object up only.
But Winguardian Leviosa is the Blue spell with the wand and feathers icon. Winguardian Leviosa will not only let you control where you want to put an object but also lifts Heavy object like the Merlin Trial bolders balls. Winguardian Leviosa will also let you spin the object and flip it to the direction you want it to face. 🪄
Wingardium Leviosa is cast automatically when you cast Levioso on an object. If it doesn’t happen, it’s because the item is too heavy.

2:30:00 Bro, what! You can rotate the blocks while in the air?! I spent such a long time in that treasure vault, trying to turn the blocks the right way using Depulso over and over and over. Bodyblocking the thing so it wouldn’t fall down and instantly reset to its position with the arrow pointing up. I HATED THAT TREASURE VAULT and my boy Oak just comes in AND ROTATES THE DAMN THING WHILE IT’S IN THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sebastian is... problematic. He did not need to use the unforgivable curse to save Ann, he chose to when another spell would have done the trick much as easily.
He will no matter what as someone drawn to the dark arts keep making excuses for his choices, and is blaming it on the situations and never taking accountability.
That is a sort of person you best stay away from.
