In this video we talk about a great option for guards: the Li-Ning Speed 9 Premium.
Traction is excellent on these and you get a squeaky and solid grip for hard stops and quick cuts. Cushioning is a little disappointing, as Boom in the forefoot can’t be felt too well on feet. In general they’re on the stiffer side too. But they are very low to the ground, and have minimal weight. In my opinion this is the type of performance many guards may need, and torsional support is great as well.

so glad you have reviewed this one. I have the speed 8 premium and since the speed 9 was released, I am itching to buy one because of the performance of the previous version. I love the aesthetics of the 9 too. not bad.

I'm planning on copping that colorway and that shoe. I'm been using li ning products for 2 years now. In my opinion li ning is top 3 for me. I'm also surprised that you got those in a footlocker? 😳. Makes Hopeful that it might out here in the USA.

Oh that’s a tough one. The TRC Blaze Court is more bouncy, these have better traction from my experience. For now I’ll probably still take the TRC Blaze Court, cause its traction is not bad either. But maybe with more playing time I’ll like these more…

808 2 - it will be a better shoe that caters to more playing styles I think. But let’s say if you’re specifically looking for a lighter guard shoe for faster plays, the Speed 9 Premium can be a better choice.

If you’re a faster and more shifty player, and want the lighter of the two then go with the Speed 9 Premium. Otherwise I’d take the 808 2 in all other cases.

sir question, how do these compared to the dame certified?
These are lighter, but the Dame Certified has slightly better cushioning and compression. Very close, both have excellent traction, I’ll probably take the Dame Certified if I have to pick.

Hey man they’re quite different shoes. This one’s lighter and faster, but overall I do like the 808 2 better.

Cushioning is average. Need break in time to feel the cushion. Mine has good cushioning after playing 5x.

This better than the Ice Blood v2?
Umm, I personally like the Ice Blood V2 better. It works better for my flat feet, these caused some soreness. But on paper this is probably a better shoe, if that makes sense.
808 2 or this? Which one is better?

I personally like the All City 10 better (V2) for the cushioning and compression. But these are great too especially for guards.

Hey. I like the 808 2 regular the most, and All City 10 V2 is close. Speed 9 Premium is good too but cushioning is lacking for me as someone who prioritizes that.
How about all city 10 (not v2)? Sadly, my size in 808 2 regular is now out of stock. And AC 10 v2 is still not available here in PH. Do you have any recommendations?

@@marbysamson7626 Ah I see. Honestly the Air Max Impact 4 is a great choice, especially if you want something that is lighter. All City 10 is good too, I do think the V2 has a better toe box fit though.
