Excellent use of skills, to the point, no plugins for those who can't afford them. Good sound, speedy working. Plus you added which keys you're pressing. And free sharing of the project. What a legend.
Alas I get 100s of suggestions each week so it's the one that gets the most requests. Don't take it personally, please....I do take notes and I love Eric Prydz, so will get to him soon :)
@@EDMTips can you do kolsch?? And also what are your thoughts on making something like melodic/groovy trance like the blizzards used to make back in days !! Miss those days 😪

A bit more work on a reaper plugin I'm working on in Rust rather than c++. (educational). More work on the mix for the PLAP mix contest. Then having a few glasses of Tullamore Dew Irish Whisky. 😈
Now i can have a great start to my week because i just watched a will darling tutorial - thanks man!! Learning so much from this one YT channel - it's epic!
I've had ableton for a week now and watching you create so smoothly and keep such a tidy workspace is where I aspire to be at some point. I've been putting in about 10 hours every day (my job allows me this luxury) and so far I'm no closer to actually having a track. It's cool though, it doesn't frustrate me as I guess I'm learning lots along the way. The bassline I designed on my first day sounds completely different to the bassline I have now (probably 50th edition so far). Your videos are a massive help. Props to you for that 🤘
Much Much Love from Los Angeles!!!! You are an angel in my musical spiritual life!!! I'm so blown away by the fact that I have learned so much by following this tutorial... and I'm only in minute 12:32. I had to stop and call it a night. There is so much to process, but I absolutely love how easy you make it to follow along. Thank you Thank You Thank You! I look forward to crediting you when I have my first track on Beatport!!! Love You Brother!!!!
@@EDMTips Also Will, Thank You for using all stock plugins. Following along how you use Analoge, Operator and Wavelength has really helped me understand synths a whole lot more. Also by using the stocks, it makes it easier when then looking at the 3rd party plug ins. So yeah I really appreciate you teaching with only the stocks, Thank You. I look forward to giving back to you after all I am learning. Thank You Will
Hi , this is a great video, (as always), i've actually start my own project, to learn the skills in this video. I have a question about your Drum rack. (16:42mins) between your pads and the simpler, there is a section that allows you to tweek each pads settings i.e Chain receive play choke, send a , send b etc , i dont have this on my ableton live 11, is there something I can do to get my my Drum Rack the same. Thanks 🙌
I watched many many videos specially about drum rack but u r the only one who make it looks WOW , ur technique is awesome, not only the drum rack every single step in this video challenging me to work smarter, THANK YOU so much for this video 👐 RESPECT👐

EDM Tips from the newest album Baby and Teenage Birdsong. Going back Two Thousand and Seventeen. Mostly done ‘in the box’ with stock plugins and hefty use of great samples.
U aw dat boi!! This is another great one Will - you never miss. Thanks again for the awesome EDM Tips courses. The "Ultimate EDM Mixing Couse" was really exceptional. What might be lovely, and I realize I'm probably alone on this but, it would be nice if you would do one using all the wicked 3rd party choices you would use for different situations. It would be interesting then to see how you handle CPU allocation.
Sorry for the noob question, but.... I mean the very beginning of the video. When I use the kick in the same way as you do, arrange it at the same distance, it's tempo is very fast, like in the project (123bpm). In your case, however, it is different. May I ask for a hint as to what I am doing wrong?
