Yes it will, as long as the 8 year old has an epic games account and have their console fortnite account linked to said epic games account then you're fine.
Well for you guys having trouble with ur card and linking the account well I had the same problem but like you guys it says ur PlayStation account has been found make an account so what you guys should do 1. Make a new email 2. Random display name doesn’t matter 3. Make the acct and it should auto connect to ur PlayStation since you used PlayStation for it to work 4. It should let you choice the console ur on now for the code 5. They gave you a code to put into the PlayStation store in the redeem section and then put that code and redeem and it should be on ur account alll set Lastly just buy a psn gift card instead next time it’s much easier 😭🙏🏼 hope that helps

That's because you have a Fortnite account but not an epic games account. You just need to create one and make sure you link your Fortnite account to the epic games account.

Oh that's a easy fix. What happened is when you first played fortnite, it connected your fortnite account to your Playstation account. What you need to do is create an epic games account with your Playstation sign in information then unlink it. Go to your current epic games account and connect your Playstation account to it.

Did you check to see if it was the right email? Sometimes when we type fast we add an extra or remove a charcter we would need. If that doesnt work, you can always contact Epic Games, they do an amazing job of helping people with similar issues.

When you say to redeem it in Microsoft store on Xbox, the original code is almost 20 letters. Not 25z
The original code is 16 characters but when you go through Microsoft it gives you a 25 digit code to use.
