    I have the MODX6 and just got a Krome EX 88. Best of both worlds. 88 keys and the strengths and weaknesses compliment each other perfectly. Look long enough and you can find a MODX 6 for under a $1000. So maybe just work towards saving for the combined setup. Really can’t go wrong with either the MODX or the Krome in my opinion. Can go very deep with either board if you want to create new sounds or songs. Enjoy!

    You have modified the sounds a lot. Many of the sounds don't sound so straightforward when you select the sound.

    ピアノの音が素敵なワークステーションを希望したら、店員さんがこの機種を薦めてきたので、61鍵の機種を購入しました。😆

    I ordered KromeEx yesterday and after watching some ModX reviews I kind of regret about it, never heard both keyboards playing in live but after watching a few reviews of both I can say that the Korg sounds a bit more cheap, with high trebles, like saucepans hitting each others, the sounds on Yamaha Modx are warmer and more enveloping, at least hearing with headphones. I hope it is only a matter on who/how they recorded those reviews and it is just a technical configuration. Fingers crossed, I'm fan of Korg but I won't hesitate to blow the branch away with my review after using it.

      gabrielirlanda Interesting, as I’ve seen videos where ModX sounded brighter, maybe it’s the patch ur playing or maybe tweak ur eq.

      @@evanyoon1230 I'm almost 3 weeks using Krome and I have to say I'm pretty happy, it is a little beast. Tons of YT videos reviewing Krome are junk recorded in very bad quality audio.

      @@gabrielirlanda I actually wanted to get a KromeEX because it has some derived sounds from the Kronos, and probably has the best electric piano sound out of the other two in this category (MODX and FA-08), but my heart keeps looking at the MODX. If you had another chance, would you get the MODX?

    • @gabrielirlanda
      @gabrielirlanda 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tonylancer7367 In another chance I would at least considering in hearing it in person because I was so blind with Korg but I see that the MODX is a good one too, but I think there are a few versions of the MODX, it all depends of what you can afford to, and if worth to spend much more money compared to KromeEx depending on the use you will have with it. I'm pretty happy with KromeEx, there are a couple of things I don't like it on the sequencer piano roll panel that I though it was better but those are just details, the sounds are really good, as per said it is a little beast. You have to have a good pair of speakers of course.

      @@tonylancer7367 here is some playing from a professional guy, the sound in my computer is flat and dull, but it is all about YT and the way it was recorded, in real it sounds much better: th-cam.com/video/_BZBbNnMxf0/w-d-xo.html
      I've also purchased this voices and sound really well:
      th-cam.com/video/483pdL8wt1o/w-d-xo.html
      Again, it is all about of the money you want to spend and the use you will give to it, in my case is just for composing and play something at home, no professional use.

    A cookie cutter review that doesn't scratch the surface of what the Krome EX can do. I bought the Roland Juno DS61 for the sound libraries and free expansion card downloads. It was a huge bang for the buck because of the sounds. The Krome should have a free compatible Triton download... boom! instant beats studio. The MODX (MO-DX) has the full history of Yamaha sounds available so another huge bang for the buck. I want all three. Will likely get the MODX next and then the Krome. Showing me grand pianos and EP's in this video is amateurish and just boring. The dude can play but I'm not buying him.
