No. You got it all mixed up. The mods turn gaiden into a sandbox styling game like dmc5 where you just combo. This really started with lost judgment and since then, thats just what people think yakuza is about. But yakuza was never a sandbox combo simulator. Its an action beat em up. Not about juggles. Just because they added the mechanics, doesnt mean that they switched genre. If yakuza was focused on brain-dead combos, trust me. RGG could do it. Definitely. But thats not what yakuza is about. So no. Yakuza isnt meant to be played on pc with mods. In fact, youre not even looking to play yakuza. Youre just looking for something that feels nice to do and yakuza gaiden and lost judgment mods appeal to that. Its fair enough and theres not a problem with that. But please refrain from misunderstanding what yakuza is meant to be about in its gameplay loop. (And even worse, making bad remarks about it afterwards.)
@kingkaizoku85 true seeing judgement i used to think what's with the slow combat of yakuza? But y0 and kiwami was good in combat. Its when they went DE they started focusing more on graphics than gameplay.
