See it all the time...coulda shoulda woulda.....but never did. Ya it's fun to drive stick but at the track people get upset and don't have much fun. A little slower but getting the Ws is fine with me.
You hear it all the time people bragging on their dyno number. I have 1,000HP crap My response is always the same... How is it in the 1/4? Horse Power numbers and that one time you had E85 on a 60 degree night during a lunar eclipse and the moon synched cycles with your turbo for the 10.99 pass mean nothing if you can't drive it when you want and can't reproduce it without a week of prep work. I will take a cool 11 second daily any day of the week.
What’s it running now with the new set up? So far would you say it’s worth upgrading from a stage 1 can bolt on car. Money worth the time difference at the track/ street performance? Or would a daily driver be better off left in that stage 1-2 area.
Evo’s or really AWD stick shift cars are tricky to launch off the line especially on a prepped track. It took me 6-7 times to get the perfect launch with my evo lol if I had to choose I definitely would take the Camaro for the drag strip🤣
It’s a apples to oranges comparison. You didn’t get a good race even though you had decent runs. Someone needs to reactive more with their evo. I have an 11sec Subaru that puts a spanking down on street tires…. My g8 at 500hp is not a fair comparison to my wrx.
I don’t think you’re getting it. That’s the point. He did not get good runs BECAUSE the Evo is so inconsistent. So back to the first question…would you rather have a consistent “apple” or an inconsistent, hard to drive “orange” ?
Bro this shit got me so hyped! I'm going to cam my 15 2SS and start uploading some content! Good stuff! You should have waayyyy more followers.
Thanks man! Lemme know when you post vids!
Cant beat reliable, consistent passes
Consistency for sure 👍🏼
I’d rather a consistent slower car for the sake of racing for money. Like the situation in this video, you’re gambling on the driver and not the car.
IMO, it doesn't matter how fast your car has been. It's how fast you can go today...right now!
🤘

Proof is in the pudding!

Well Said!
I have a 1le that comes with 3.91 gear what cam do you recommend?
I would get a cam you can rev out to 7000rpm maybe a GPI SS3 or SS4 NFC

My Camaro ran pretty damn good with the GPI Stage 1 cam/gears/stock Converter. It's hard to beat that setup as a daily driver

Hmmm probably consistent passes
Cammed camaro All day
are you down shifting at the end of the run or is the trans set up that way?
It's the Converter Lockup
@@The1st60ft Im talking about after you cross the stripe. sounds like quick downshifts or throttle blips.
Ohhhh lol just blipping the throttle
Is that a dead spot in the tune upper rpm 4-5?? Or just audio mic dampening?
Converter lockup lol
Morning everybody, and how fast is your car and how is the Evo? Good luck with it, 👍👍
Consistent low low 11s. Evo has gone 10.4s. Thanks man!
You changed your stall ?? I thought you were using a 3800!! ?
It's a 4c converter. Flash point is advertised as 3800-4000 lol sry about the confusion
