I think it would sound a lot better if he used his Down on the Farm/Absurd voice for the verses. The chorus sounds really good, I just think the verses would sound a lot harder with his low voice which also sounds a lot more natural.
I say that all the time about Myles Kennedy in SMKC. I love his lower register, but when he goes high he sounds - as one dude put it in some YT comment years ago - like a chicken being strangled. Starlight is one of my favorite songs ever - and when he goes low (and lets Kerns go high) in the acoustic version they did on the Guitar Center Sessions, it sounds 10,000x better, as well as his voice in general on their other stuff. When he goes high it's like nails on a chalkboard to me, most of the time. Sometimes it's nice, like on Battleground.
Mais uma porcaria do Guns! Deveriam voltar a ouvir Metallica e Nirvana, e reaprender a dazer rock de qualidade.Porquê isso o que estão fazendo agora é puro lixo!
This sucks so bad. But since Slash is playing everyone says it’s great. There Was A Time on Chinese Democracy was a masterpiece but no one said anything about it because Slash wasn’t the guitarist. Makes me sick 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I agree, TWAT is my favorite song. I do want to hear the studio version of this though. I think it will be good Axl Should have released all these songs back in the early 2000s tho. Buckethead and robin finck had killer guitar work
I do not know how long you've not looked, but I think GnR are still awesome. I saw them live in concert in October 2023 (I have been a huge fan since 1990), and it was amazing & a lot of fun :)
@@kerenolivero7097- Ummm....I guess if you like it drive on. But to me, everything since Use Your Illusion II is absolute shit. This song is shit. Hard Skool is shit. Axl's voice is shit. And a sixty plus year-old man singing It's So Easy is stupid shit
I rate the music highly, I like the darkness of it. But the lyrics. Axl wrote 1 verse. A refrain a chorus then repeated it, then added an extremely repetitive bridge. It’s just super lazy lyric writing. Absurd was trash, perhaps was mediocrity personified and now this. So much potential wasted here.
@@kerenolivero7097 It could be better in a lot of ways, I would start by not screaming jiberish on top of Slash’s solo to begin with… it’s almost impossible to make sense of what he’s playing… I mean the song is not bad, and I’m talking about the studio version… there’s way too many effects on the voice tracks (reverb and room-like fx). Slash and Duff are basically human riff machines, they need to get something really new out, GNR has a history of pushing the boundaries and reinventing themselves… and the CD era needs to end at some point imo.
@@fercuscuelalopez9454, We'll have to agree to disagree. I am loving all the Chinese Democracy "leftovers". I do not need new music, so these are completely a bonus, for me. I am always happy with GnR, just the way they are :) The vocal effects in this song is certainly different, but I can hear the instruments, as well as Axl's vocals. The more times I listen to the song the more I understand it. I am curious, since you do not care for the vocal effects, do you prefer the live concert version?
@@kerenolivero7097 I get you, it's great that you love these, don’t get me wrong, i like them too, and i'm listening to these constantly, i have all the leaks you could think of and i enjoy some of those more than these reworks (perhaps sounds a bit better in those locker leaks imo). Maybe that's why i don’t go crazy for these maybe? I've heard them all before. Oh and i freaking LOVE Monsters, can’t stop listening to it, learned all the giuitar parts, so fun... that's a new one for me. And yes, when it comes to Axl's voice, i've always loved his work, with different voice layers he does, but in these ones starting with Absurd... it's too much, i like a clean voice track, it blends nicer with the band, but that's my taste, the industrial side of CD, it's fine in that record, love that album, but it's definitely not my favorite version of GNR. They need to bring back some of that simplicity sound wise that made them the biggest band in the world, a lot of people waited far too long for these 3 to reunite, but that's what i want, i love Perhaps and Hardskool though, that's the way to go imo.
Granted, I’m a huge axl fan anyways, but boy, brother put it ALL into this song. Good for him.
Yeah same here but it’s sad now, He really struggled with this and this song ain’t really that heavy with vocals
Amazing vocals & song!
So Cool
Luv this!!!
Bellissima
The Axl vocals seems pretty nice.
Brilliant song. Monsters is great too.
Yeah! Looking forward to Monsters👍
I heard demo of monsters got leaked I didn’t catch it I guess they took it down already
@@franthevan65 Yeah, they did. Parts of Monsters sounds great!
Can’t fuckin wait man idc what anyone says back in 90s when I 1st heard guns it blew my mind still does
I was there
Fuck yea
Wow axl

Axl 🎤🤘🎸👏
Versão ao vivo bem melhor do que a dos efeitos de estúdio!!!
Go Axl !!!
Great song, not as good as estranged overall, but still very good
Needs his natural chest voice...but ... not bad

It seems that @eleanorcat9982 is a anti slash karen.
CD is a great album.
Well you responded so they meant something to you lol

No one asked no one cares
He did say in the song he didn't know what to tell you now 🤷🏻
I disagree. He has made his point
Completely disagree, perhaps’s lyrics are awesome, so is this.
I love all the new GnR songs. I do not see any wasted potential :)
Enough of the CD crap… I mean this didn’t make the cut… for CD!!! Come on… Slash & Duff deserve better, they barely do sh$t in this song.
It is making the cut, now. Also, Duff & Slash would not be there if they did not want to be there. How could it be better?

no offence but all the new songs ive heard suck real bad ... totaly non melodic, overly complicated , sound bad live ...
Then you can't be a real Guns n roses fan if you dislike them all.
