    Very cool. Glad it worked out well. Always nice when the machine works the way it is supposed to.

    I want a turbine on a test stand, found the King engines and then found this video. Very cool but consider hearing protection during the test runs.

    Hey John great content! I am literally in the same spot you are in, just waiting on my tank, should be here this weekend. Did you go with a straight 5% KT oil to Kero? Also, if you are doing another vid of your turbine startup can you show with a bit more detail the startup and shutdown procedure with your iX12, trim positions etc.....

    • @NoonzAirborneRC
      @NoonzAirborneRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes 5% roughly 190ml per gallon of kero or a whole qt in 5 gallons. Yeah i will do another video. It was kind of hard to see bc of the sun but it was a gorgeous day!!

    That's impressive John, when you start it is fuel sprayed right away or once the turbine reaches a certain speed? Jeff in LA USA

    • @NoonzAirborneRC
      @NoonzAirborneRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      fuel is supposed to be like a "drip" when ignition starts (10000 rpm) then gradually increases till in "running" state. Manual did say the first start up will be a flame. I think the control module is "learning" the environment and parameters.

    • @NoonzAirborneRC
      @NoonzAirborneRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      oh really??!! well crap i must of being doing this wrong the whole time in RC?! well poop on me...i guess i should of just thrown this engine and test run in for the first time into a brand new plane and burned it down! sorry but not sorry you might be rich but im not. Have a good day and maybe next time some constructive criticism would be better.

      I liked the part when Katt connors showed us their turbine and jet on their YT videos…

    • @kattconnors1863
      @kattconnors1863 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We got a group here in Kc that fly jets about any day that is decent (three of us are retired) so starting a turbine and flying nice jets with them has become a pretty ordinary occurrence.. they have become almost appliance like the tech is so refined.. even have a pod and boom turbine Heli. We burn a lot of kero here even in a fairly backward place..

      @@kattconnors1863 okay? So does that give you a pass to negatively
      Comment on a post? Cause we have that too! Like we have a club dedicated to turbines so….
