I love your style! While I was watching the beginning of the episode, I could instantly tell who you were drawing just by the structure of their face and the different shapes. Not many artists can do this, and a lot of the time, I can't tell who people are drawing until they color it. Your art is beautiful, but the way you can tell who it is without even seeing the color of the cat is amazing. Thank you for doing the drawing a blank series, as it has helped me stay inspired and keep drawing even when I don't like how my pictures turn out.
I would LOVE IT if you did an Opinionated Ranking of the Warriors Series. I mean for me New Prophecy and Omen are tied for worst whereas The Prophecies Begin/Power of Three are probably the best. And that's NOT just from biased thinking. It's tightly written, and both have fantastic casts. If The Broken Code is as good as the starting point it might push out TPB and POT out for my favorite arc.

Bluestar's death hit me right in the feels when I was younger. I had really been hoping she would take ThunderClan's leadership back, but the scene where she sacrificed herself to save the future of the clan was one of my favorites. Another one was definitely Gray Wing's death, with his kits naming the Clans and all. Honestly, any death where kits are present and have to react hurts a lot, to me anyways.

I think keeping with these 4 books was a much better option. Dawn of the Clans is completly seperate to the rest of the series even though it's the begining of the clans they're SOOOOO far removed from the rest of the books, and just skipping that would just cause uneccessary questions/conflicting opinions. And even though Vision of Shadows and the Broken Code is a direct continuation of Omen of the Stars there's a bit of a time skip and the end of Firestar between them which makes for a great spot to split up the characters. I would love to see you make a poster for DofC and eventually for VoS and BC as well but I assume it would be better to wait the second one at least until BC is finished.
I'm sure you've seen a lot of comments about this, but I love the background. The Prophecies begin is centred in a forest, which is where the series main conflict is. But it's a clearing, kinda like a beacon of hope. You have the dark dangerous forest and then the heroes in the light, about to face the evil within. The New prophecy cats have mountains behind them, showing the only interesting part of the arc. It also represents the journey they have to overcome, both physically and mentally. The mountains are in the distant as well, as if the end isn't yet in sight. The Power of Three cats are in the night sky, but there is still light, which makes it seem less urgent, but also has an air of mystery to it, like the darkness is about to begin and secrets are going to get uncovered. And then you have Omen of the Stars. They are in a completely dark sky. It makes it seem that the only thing to light there way is the stars and moon, which is kinda what the arc is about. The three have the power of the stars. They are the ones bringing the light and getting rid of the darkness. Not gonna lie, backgrounds are very unappreciated. That's never the thing people want to hear about, even though they are incredibly important, especially if there is a lot of thought put into them. I may have over analysed this, but Tennelle, even though he has a cartoony style, everything is incredibly well done.
Notebooks would be so cool!! Silverstream's death had me almost crying over my book in class, but this was mainly because I was 12 and thought that Greystripe and Silverstream's struggle to keep their relationship was adorable and I wanted Silverstream to join ThunderClan to finally, after a long, developed relationship, have kits and be able to care for them safely.
One of my first thoughts was how the colors pop so much more in the new one! and the expressions are so much stronger, everyones personality shines through. I love love redraws and it's amazing how much you've grown. We joined the YT/warriors community around the same time in 2015 and I'm SO PROUD of all you've accomplished its SO AMAZING!!!! Who else here is just on the third book of the Power of Three? No? Just me? Okay... But AMAZING art Tennelle as always! And I’d say that the characters death that really hit me was Bluestar (I was so happy to see she finally reconciled with her kits and that she recovered from her madness), Tigerstar (hear me out, it was like a sense of wow he just died... the big baddie was finally dead), and Feathertail, I knew that Cinderpelt was gonna die and come back so...
Your improvement is absolutely astonishing! One thing I’ve always loved about your art is how your style can easily differentiate who you’re drawing, I could instantly tell who the cat you were drawing was without you needing to color. Amazing job! I’d love in the future if you could do a similar composition poster with the cats of A Vision of Shadows and The Broken Code! Ravenpaw was the first cats death that made me cry, I always related to him and he was my favourite comfort cat. He’s just so sweet, I’ve read all of his books twice and they all show just how much of a sweet guy he is! And he and Barley are one of the cutest couples, though Barley is two years older canonical. It’s better than Moonflower and Stormtail (who was a new warrior when she was a kit!)
I feel like you nailed it on the head when you said most people stopped reading after the Omen of the Stars, because I knew I kind of did, I started reading Dawn of the clans, but fell out of Warrior Cats because I was interested it what other books the Erins were making, like Survivor and that one bear book that I stopped after like the 3rd book because of something really really ludicrous happens to one of the bear girls. I had fallen out but recently I started to read them again, and I'm surprised on how much I remembered about the books, such as Bluestar's death and how many animators get it wrong (sorry a little nit-pick of mine). Either way, I really like your poster design and the only thing I think would improve it is for Dovewing to be on the same side as Hollyleaf to symbolize that she had, in a way, literally and figuratively, taken her place.
@@sharky1891 I've seen like over 50 animations of Bluestar's death, most of them having her landing on the edge of the ledge, but the ledge brings her down as well. And some have her tackling the dog off and her falling with it. I've just seen so many over 6 or so years of watching warrior cats videos.
I didn’t even hear of warriors till about a year or two ago but I got the first book a couple months ago. I just started reading Starlight and I hope I can catch up to everyone since I’m only on the seconed arc. I’ve only read 4 super editions too
I think something your not mentioning is how good your character face designs have gotten I can clearly tell the personality and traits of the characters now then the old one that had a bit of same face syndrome

The death in Warrior cats that hit me the hardest were probably Bluestar, Cinderpelt and Firestar.. It may seam basic- Because it is, but.. Firestar helped me get through a tough time in life.. He showed me to rise up, not to care what other people think of you, keep going, even when all hope is lost and you have no support. But Bluestar? I just loved her wisdom, kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness, she just tought me to be a better person, and not to judge people of where they come from, judge them of what's in their heart. Cinderpelt was just iconic to me, she matched my personality so much, I want to rake my claws on that badgers back! So, the one that hit me the most is **Drum roll** Firestar.

the warriors' death that stuck out for me was MossKit's death. I cried because she was so tiny. But let's face it, I'm pretty sensitive so I do cry a lot when warriors die. It's just that MossPaw's stuck out the most for me.

I really love this piece!!! Something that really stood out to me was the background. IDK if it was your intention but i like how the way it changes as it goes up fits with the tone of the arcs it's behind. Like the prophecies begin has the bright welcoming foresty bit for rusty's journey into the wild (lol), new prophecy has the mountain ranges representing their journey, and po3 and oots has he night sky to represent the darker tones of those arcs. Once again I have no idea if it was your intention but it was something i appreciated either way!

I love your art Tenelle and it inspires me a lot (I copy your drawings for learning but they always end up not so grat as I thought they were going to😂) I was nine when I started reading warriors and now that I´m twelve and I´m starting vision of shadows after reading dawn of the clans, the original series feel so far away! Ifeel like an ancient lady remebering legends about cats🤣.Because I ´m Spanish and I started reading the series in spanish but then as the books weren´t traduced I started reading them in english and I love them so much

Ive been into Warriors since 2014/2015, but around 2018 I dropped it because I simply lost interest. Only recently did I peak back into this interest, and SO much has changed since I left. It honestly grabbed my interest again, and I can't wait to catch up with this series again. :)
Bluestar's Prophecy still gets to me to this day. That book made me laugh and cry so many times. :'D I totally agree with your opinion on her death! It was one of the most heart wrenching next to Feathertail's and CInderpelt's.

I swear I was watching you make this poster and crying about how beautiful is was
the warriors' death that stuck out for me was MossKit's death. I cried because she was so tiny. But let's face it, I'm pretty sensitive so I do cry a lot when warriors die. It's just that MossPaw's stuck out the most for me.
The 1 dislike is from Rock being angry he got kicked off of the poster.
I agree. The omen of the stars just felt like it ended A major arch that was branched through the series. It's almost as if the newer books are a totally different series having Greystipe as the only remaining og
I really love this piece!!! Something that really stood out to me was the background. IDK if it was your intention but i like how the way it changes as it goes up fits with the tone of the arcs it's behind.
Like the prophecies begin has the bright welcoming foresty bit for rusty's journey into the wild (lol), new prophecy has the mountain ranges representing their journey, and po3 and oots has he night sky to represent the darker tones of those arcs.
Once again I have no idea if it was your intention but it was something i appreciated either way!

I was nine when I started reading warriors and now that I´m twelve and I´m starting vision of shadows after reading dawn of the clans, the original series feel so far away! Ifeel like an ancient lady remebering legends about cats🤣.Because I ´m Spanish and I started reading the series in spanish but then as the books weren´t traduced I started reading them in english and I love them so much

Ive been into Warriors since 2014/2015, but around 2018 I dropped it because I simply lost interest. Only recently did I peak back into this interest, and SO much has changed since I left. It honestly grabbed my interest again, and I can't wait to catch up with this series again. :)

Bluestar's Prophecy still gets to me to this day. That book made me laugh and cry so many times. :'D I totally agree with your opinion on her death! It was one of the most heart wrenching next to Feathertail's and CInderpelt's.
