I miss the 'old' big brother. When I say old I mean when they had a real mix of young and older hg's and twists that would throw them for a loop and really shake up the game.
These BB Contestants are usually away from their families for 100 days or so. They miss talking to their parents, siblings and relatives. Why doesn't Big Brother have a season where original players play with their loved ones? That'd be something I'd like to see.
sallyburger No, in that season, the secret partners consisted of friends, neighbours, former co-workers, even "sorority sisters." What I meant here was that each of the first contestants in the house would play with a "loved one," being a member of their own family: brothers and sisters playing the game together, or maybe their mother or father, or husband/wife, or maybe even a member of the extended family who took care of them, like maybe an aunt or uncle, maybe even a cousin. Even one of the older contestants can be surprised by having his/her son or daughter come into the house to play.
You're right, I'm surprised they haven't by now. It might be easier on Survivor because they can separate them on different tribes, and then reunite them later, not just hanging out in a house for a whole game.
This twist was horribly botched with the five "X"s" immediately branded as X's and given a disadvantage in the game from day one. Jun and Allison, and David are just as much X's as Jee, Robert, and Michelle but didn't get the stigma of being labeled as X's (plus they immediately got three extra allies in Nathan, Dana, and Jack). If you made Jun and Allison X's at the start they don't win and Michelle isn't one of the first two out. It was horribly unfair. I thought Michelle was really cute and I hated seeing her going so early, especially this being the first season of the jury. I wish she got another chance. They should have made them all X's like Season 6 where everyone had a secret partner.
Well, I think the idea was for the Elite 8 being David, Nathan, Jack, Dana, Erica, Scott, Jun and Allison were saying, okay, the X's have got to go, but when Scott got expelled, and after evicting Amanda and Michelle, that's when things changed and the 3 X-Factors that stayed the most were Jee, Robert and Justin when they were known as Big Brother's Version of The Three Stooges I also think that Scott should've kept his cool instead of going overboard and getting expelled and as for Allison, she was definitely freaked out when she heard about The X-Factor
Right?!?!? I wouldn't even be stressed out or nervous because I would know for a fact it wouldn't be one of my exes walking through the door. No drama for me! XD
I remembered when I watched this and wondered how'd they get their exes on, bb just called exes of the house guests they chose and asked them to be on the show, yet it was a surprise on both sides?
Well before the show starts, the house guests are sequestered. Maybe the exes were then chosen by that time, and sequestered for a shorter period. I don't know exactly how the exes are chosen though, it could be mere coincidence, or maybe they rung their families to convince them to join big brother, but not revealing the twist. Idk.
When they're casting for a season, they ask everyone who applies a shit ton of questions. They can easily figure out who your exes are. They've even reunited long lost half siblings in season 5. If your ex already applied to be on the show, it gets exponentially easier to cast them. They could also just recruit the ex which I'm assuming a couple of them were.
Such a shame poor Michelle had to be a casualty of the early "GET OUT THE X'S" alliance of 8. She was really sweet and she was so pure compared to everyone in the house. She was beautiful too, and she looked so sad during her eviction interview and when she was looking at the goodbye messages. Sad :(
Well yes, every other season otehr than season 6, they did all have to try to get casted. But Jun stated in one of her blog posts that Gee and the other Exes only got on the show because they dated another person. In season 6 only half of the cast tried out, while the other half of the people just got a call from CBS, maggie explained in an interview
OK what does Maggie have to do w/ this clip? This was from season 4 not 6. And for the record, Maggie actually played one of the more successful games ever whether you liked her or hated her.
I figured out why we hate all the models that get on now. It's not that they are models..and it's not that they are fuckin INSTAGRAM models. It's that they have no Sass! Wasn't Alison a pageant queen? She had sass though! Things like editing and how they edit now..it's so far off from what it was.
Yes I have no idea hw Jun won and i watched the whole season, she was definitely not happy bout it, HECK I would have been Jumpin out of my seat the second i heard i won half a mill.

Completely agree with u
Yeah. Nowadays they bring in a group of same-age people, and throw in one old guy who will be the first one out. Lol.
+kannequi // yep. Sorry Glenn
and they make the twists so obvious like in bb17 the twins were found out like in week 2
in bb19 the den of temptation and paul's safety was shook up the game pretty well
It's so funny how all the house guests were so worried about having their exes join except Jack. He was like get rekt kids
Lol
Also funny that Jack did indeed had nothing to worry about, he was not one of the X factor contestants
THIS is a twist they need to bring back! fuck with everyones mind.....
This is hands down one of the best twists ever! So entertaining!
Nathan: Nobody hook up with anyone's ex.
Jun: Well we can hook up, we just have to vote them off.
Dana: No!
Spoilers:
And Jun was the winner
I fucking loved this twist, they need to do this again!

David Lightfoot Well they kinda did that in season 6 where they came in with a person they knew from the real world

David Lightfoot Big Brother Blood Vs Water lmao

Didn't Jury star in Season 5?
@@scottc4199 no jury started in season 4
@@kesa3072 Oh your'e right, I figure after what happened with Danielle they fixed that asap.
@@scottc4199 wait what happened with danielle i forgot
this is why i don't date.. bitter X's scary as fuck.

What's funny is that Justin was NOT the guy Alison's boyfriend had to worry about...
Best twist this game has ever had
this was definitely the season of the floaters, there were absolutely no active players this season except for Allison, she deserved to win.
I remembered when I watched this and wondered how'd they get their exes on, bb just called exes of the house guests they chose and asked them to be on the show, yet it was a surprise on both sides?

"Maggie is one of the most underrated winners of all time." - Evel Dick
I remember this one of the first seasons I truly loved.
The 3 Amigos were my faves in BB4.
Sad :(
Desmond McDade shows you what he would be like in a relationship
What's funny is that David went out after her
5:59 these two will soon regret this comforting moment
my favorite BB moment! gave me so many ideas for possible twists!
do this now and with the feed oh man will be so fuuuuuuun i will be watching 24/7 for sure
i actually forgot about this. I had a major crush on Erika. Why don't know. I thought she was gorgeous.
She's definitely got something about her.
yeah but she was being discriminatory against Jee for being kroean. can't stand for that
She was in good shape and had a pretty nice body being a pilates/yoga instructor
Lol Jee and Jun
Hahahahahaha! I won. STFU. This is awesome. :)
Jun Song And I realized this wasn't a joke instantly. I would be pissed if my ex walked into the BB house out of nowhere.
This was an awesome twist
Hmm... you didn’t seem pleased when Jee walked in
SO TRUE QUEEN
Hey Jun
lol Dana and Ali were friends then they hated each other and the 'no hooking up with an ex thing' yeah that didn't happen either
Well yes, every other season otehr than season 6, they did all have to try to get casted. It is 2020, but this twist is still one of the BEST reality TV twists. Practically the basis of "Ex On The Beach" way before it started in the UK.
What a great season
I had such a crush on Erika this season. I wish she would have won!
If I were asked a question of who is my fav ex to enter the house, I would say michelle and jee
most often, they also have to pass the audition...they don't just GET ON
They should do one of these where half the house are Xs in season 20
Best twist ever lmao
jee was the man
This was a great twist!
Love your videos. :)
This does NOT contain content from Channel 4. Channel 4 is BB UK. Not US> This is US.
Maggie? Amazing? Really? You need to hear James' stories about her on the feeds.
lmmfao! Now that's reality TV! \m/
@arringtony 3 years ago, maybe she did. Now it's definitely Jordan, Rachel, or Hayden.
Ah the good times when they actually had super interesting twists. It all went downhill after bb13
i liked just about everyone in this season.
Its real fucked up how basically the exes got on the show because they dated the people already casted for the show
Crikey! This amazing twist is worthy of BBUK, lol.
digggin the sarcasam
This is hilarious!
OK what does Maggie have to do w/ this clip? This was from season 4 not 6. And for the record, Maggie actually played one of the more successful games ever whether you liked her or hated her.
Of course David and Michelle were the only civil ones.
@UberBreannaDinosaur yea i knew that too
How did they know which of their exes would be there?
Um Jun and Maggie are both amazing
I figured out why we hate all the models that get on now. It's not that they are models..and it's not that they are fuckin INSTAGRAM models. It's that they have no Sass! Wasn't Alison a pageant queen? She had sass though! Things like editing and how they edit now..it's so far off from what it was.
I thought Jun and Jee were siblings oof
Could’ve fooled me lol
None of the women were really likeable this season.
Who is this Dana's ex she was talking about?
We have no way of knowing. Her ex didn't enter the house
wtf? Maggie was one of the best
jun rocks
Julie 😍 Allyson is such a dramatic person 😂 Didn't she end up cheating in the house with her ex? I could be very wrong.
Funny how you all hated Jun/Maggie....... but not anymore. lol. Smfh.
Howie was cool fool
yes she didn't do much IDK how she made Final 2 but I'm sure no matter who would have gone to f2 with ivette would have won anyway.
ew Scrubika
Really Alison, you hate Big brother? Why did you audition for the show?
Alicia Cleeland she hated big brother because of the ex thing
Hahaha, Allison was shitting her pants - she was a horrible player
Yes I have no idea hw Jun won and i watched the whole season, she was definitely not happy bout it, HECK I would have been Jumpin out of my seat the second i heard i won half a mill.
It was also equally bullshit to see her win the show... Worst winner in bb history
Andy beat her this year...
S6 also holds the title of worst overall cast.
This is the last time we got an all straight cast and not one single gay person!
Actually the only season ever which is pretty bizarre
Uh season 2 had Bunky and season 3 had Marcellus
@@saramatthews7159 Huh? I said the LAST time we had all straight cast. Those seasons came before this season. I'm still right.
@@ryan979_ I don't think season 1 had any either.
This was a mean twist and the reason I do not want to be on Big Brother Canada.
yea jun is the worst winner in bb histoy
No they just gave maggie the worst edit in big brother history.
