Plopsaland de Panne & Ghent - Mini-European Theme Park Road Trip - Exploring Belgium with Kids

Join us for the first part of our Mini-Road Trip to Belgium and The Netherlands. In this first instalment we visit the fantastic family theme park Plopsaland de Panne in Belgium and ride the magnificent 'Ride to Happiness' before travelling on to Ghent for an overnight stop. In part 2 we'll be visiting the beautiful Efteling and then travelling home with an overnight stop in Bruges.

For anyone interested in our itinerary, we drove our own car from the UK and took a 2-hour DFDS ferry from Dover to Dunkirk and then drove 30 minutes to Plopsaland de Panne. We then continued on to Ghent and used the park and ride so that we didn't have to take the car into the city. We stayed overnight at the Getaway Studios Ghent which were fantastic value and ideal for a family with kids.
