As a teen I loved how he talked to kids and I said to myself that's the kind of father I'm gonna be. I never had kids of my own but I had plenty of nieces and nephews and that's exactly how I spoke with them like Bill and Raven in this scene they're adults now and we have great friendships between us and they always count on me for a good laugh. My Santa was African American, I'm Caucasian, didn't think anything of it. My whole life, that is what the real Santa looks like to me... so kind and with a beautiful smile... that's all kids care about. Wish grown ups were the same.

Honestly I think it was the first time I ever heard the term Caucasian used, and I was a white kid going to schools where I was the minority. It wasn't a common classification. The term African-American is misleading because not every black person is American and not every African is black.

I used bleach and other chemicals to get my skin clean of what I thought was dirt. I only ended up burning my eyes and skin. Young children misinterpret things and it is parents responsibility to educate their children. I didn't realize that the long term use of those chemicals on my skin caused damage until years later. Unfortunately I didn't tell my parents what I was doing either.
