I think one of the most disturbing stories about Erie is what happened to Joe Root. He was a hermit that never bothered anyone, lived out on the peninsula, and even entertain people when they came over for a picnic. The Byford Dolphin Accident of 1983, did NOT take place underwater! The first stage door was NOT wide open either. The incident took place on the deck of the Drilling Rig, adjacent to the Pressurised Living Quarters for the four Saturation Divers. The first stage pressure door wouldn’t close properly due to corrosion. It was almost closed but about a few inch gap remained. As Diver Trulls Hellevic desperately tried to close and lock the pressure door, the outside dive tender inadvertently released the Bell Clamp, securing the Diving Bell to the Crew Quarters pressure chamber. There was no warning light nor a pressure gauge to indicate when, or if the crew compartment first stage hatch was closed and locked. An Explosive decompression occurred, reducing the pressure inside the crew compartment from 9 Atmospheres to 1 instantly. All three divers inside the chamber died instantly from expanding Nitrogen Bubbles in their bodies. One of the two Dive Tenders was killed instantly, after being struck by the diving bell as it was catapulted like a cork out of a bottle, along the deck and off into the North Sea. Poor Trulls suffered the worst fete of all. The enormous explosive decompression forces blasted his body through the two inch gap of the improperly secured hatch, shredding him into dozens of pieces and blasting his remains all over the deck of the Rig. Parts of his spine and intestines were later found high up on the Derrick, the tower holding the drill in place. Luckily, his death was proved to have been instantaneous. Poor bloke, what a way to go Eh!

The explosive decompression of the Byford Dolphin diving crew has some missing details. They were not under the water but instead were on the topside rig above the water line. These deep water divers often work for 2-3 days in the high-pressure deep water and then are brought back up to the rig in the diving bell which is attached to these decompression chambers where they undergo slow decompression over 16-24 hours. Three of the divers in the chambers suffered gruesome deaths that included their blood instantly boiling. But the 4th diver who was in the process of moving into the decompression chamber from the diving bell when the incident occurred suffered the most gruesome. The door between the trunk and the chamber was jammed almost closed when the decompression started but it left a crescent shape opening about 24 inches long through which the 4th diver's body was pushed through rapidly, squeezing his body, breaking his bones, dismembering him, and shooting his remains almost 30 feet out of the trunk into the surrounding room.
I lived in a true hell house with my 4 kids.It was an abandoned gutted home.$70k to have it fixed up & 4 more rooms built on.Black shadows, screaming our names, growls, slamming doors. We had Father Sapay come out & he left in a rush frightened.I had paranormal investigators out. First one packed up & left.Friends & family refused to come into the home anymore. People would feel a heavy presence & sick to their stomach. Some people actually threw up. My children would run fevers without explanation. Things ripped off my walls. I had a Historian helping me. I made the home into a beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bath with over a 40 foot long hallway to the 3 additional bedrooms & bath that I had built on. Spent around $10,000 on the flooring & every door in that house was almost $300..I had 15 of them. We didn't cut any corners. I had a bad feeling when I went to see the house. But it was by my kids school. I knew something was there. But I didn't know how evil it was:( we lived in hell for almost 3 years. Every day & night. The things we went through still to this day haunt us..over 10 years later. I pray for anyone living in such awful torture.
I think that’s the house Zack Bagans bought(the lead investigator & actor from Ghost Adventures). The house with a lot of demons. I remember seeing him investigate after the purchase. I guess no one is allowed in it anymore, as he just owns it.
It's amazing to find the truth it something to it behind all these accounts and incidents. Like all myths and legends there's some form is truth behind it.
That house in Gary was purchased by Zach Baggins of Ghost Adventures. He was planning on making a documentary about the house. Allegedly it was so bad he canceled shooting and demolished the house.
The tasmanian tiger part made me laugh, since it's been found they were quite small. Also the attacks in Gevaudan happened between 1764 and 1767 - I don't think Tasmania had even been properly explored by Europeans by then.

For decades we had a creepy story in Western PA the Green Man a faceless figure who would walk the roads at night. It turns out this creepy story was a sad tragic one. He was no spectre or beast just a man named Raymond Robinson who was severely disfigured in 1918 when he climbed a electric pole to check on a birds nest when he was 8. The accident left him with no eyes and thus he was blind and most of his facial features were burn away. He would take nightly walks to get fresh air and to avoid being seen he died in 1985.
@@msmltvcktl He died when I was 6 but from all reports yeah he made wallets at home with his family for an income and went for walks at night. When his body was later recovered, an autopsy said he was supposed to have died by drowning.
Yes. It is. I live extremely close to where it use to be. There’s already a movie out about it. This will be a second one. If you do come looking for it, be considerate of the neighbors. It’s just an empty lot now.
Even when I was a kid there were rumors this house was haunted. I was friends with is a kid we all called JJ that lived about 5 minutes from this haunted house and we were going to camp close one night to see if we could see anything, but his father was pretty strict and wouldn't let my friend do it. I never got to see it at night and my friend JJ and his family moved to the west coast because they wanted to try and be a singing group. The Ammon haunting is weird. Every previous owner of the house before the mother and children lived there have come forward to say they never experienced anything paranormal there, and there was no history of death on the property.
Cataplexy is horrific. Your mind is COMPLETELY aware of what is going on around you but you can’t do anything about it. I suffer from this. Regarding the Byford Dolphin incident: All four divers died instantly from the sudden massive decrease in atmospheric pressure basically making their blood literally boil. One of the (already instantly dead) divers was sucked toward the hatch, which was only open in a narrow crescent, and being pulled through such a small opening with such extreme force tore his body to pieces (they found bits of him EVERYWHERE, including one somehow dozens of feet ABOVE the diving bell, straight up). And the sudden violent release of pressure made the entire diving bell lurch backward (as in, toward the two tenders) with great speed & force, enough to crush & kill the tender who'd opened the hatch early.

But yet he kept one single staircase which is showcased in his "Museum" which still makes him millions of $ each month.

Very interesting, thank you 🌹
I loved all 10! Thanks Top5! Looking forward to the next one! ✌
Great video! You and Bizzare Bub are the best when it comes to mystery and horror shorts.
All these historical deaths and torture methods are mindboggling. It's crazy how people can be so vicious to each other.
@SunlightAngel87 People, to this day, are still vicious to one another-unfortunately.

Amazing timing! 😁👍

Wow that was a great video, really amazing!
I think that’s the house Zack Bagans bought(the lead investigator & actor from Ghost Adventures). The house with a lot of demons. I remember seeing him investigate after the purchase. I guess no one is allowed in it anymore, as he just owns it.
@christine Sch It was bulldozed in 2016 by Zac Bagans
Zac Bagans had it demolished and he has the basement stairs and some of the soil displayed in his Museum in Las Vegas
The guy who tells these stories pulls you in with His voice SCARY 👌🏻👌🏻
You all make great videos!!

The real mystery is why anyone would choose to live in Gary
It's amazing to find the truth it something to it behind all these accounts and incidents. Like all myths and legends there's some form is truth behind it.
That house in Gary was purchased by Zach Baggins of Ghost Adventures. He was planning on making a documentary about the house. Allegedly it was so bad he canceled shooting and demolished the house.
If it’s was so bad then he’d finally put skeptics to rest. I call cap.
The tasmanian tiger part made me laugh, since it's been found they were quite small. Also the attacks in Gevaudan happened between 1764 and 1767 - I don't think Tasmania had even been properly explored by Europeans by then.
Even the thumbnail - it was burned down so not many people need worry about buying it. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
It was a hyena and a murderer
Bravo bravo!!! Standing O!! Great video. Love it!!!!!!!!!??
Rasputin - that one always gets to us. It's like he was invincible!
You said Dismembered, as a welder myself that is putting it nicely, before I'm attacked in a rapid decompression of comments. I am not an underwater welder although I wanted to be a friend that passed a few years back talked me out of it as he was. He was only 47 when he went due to health complications he suffered from years of that crap

Top5s I'n the backyard under the stars hits different
For decades we had a creepy story in Western PA the Green Man a faceless figure who would walk the roads at night. It turns out this creepy story was a sad tragic one. He was no spectre or beast just a man named Raymond Robinson who was severely disfigured in 1918 when he climbed a electric pole to check on a birds nest when he was 8. The accident left him with no eyes and thus he was blind and most of his facial features were burn away. He would take nightly walks to get fresh air and to avoid being seen he died in 1985.
But was he nice? I'd have made friends with him, honestly; being horribly disfigured must be awfully lonely.
@@msmltvcktl He died when I was 6 but from all reports yeah he made wallets at home with his family for an income and went for walks at night. He simply went at night as to not upset people with his appearance. Once it got out who he was I heard stories of teenagers going to find him at his house to see if the stories of him were true and they would bring him beer and cigarettes. He was said to be friendly and appreciative for the gifts.
@@jokerz7936 yes I have read that exact same account of which you described where one poor mans lonely existence was him only venturing out at night so as not to frighten/scare the local children & adults of his horrific facial deformities that stemmed from a shocking eletrical accident that occurred to him when he was only a young curious boy that came about from him exploring while climbing an eletrical pole where the live wires met him resulting in himself living the rest of his life as a hermit, avoiding any type of contact with other humans due to his looks.
Life is full of horror stories going way way back , love to hear some of them in the safety of my unhaunted home.
This channel has been such a big part of my life - always the best content. Keep it up team.
The reason I don’t believe the “demon house” is because if your daughter or sister is levitating…someone is going to get a damn picture in todays world.
Exactly and a it's an elaborate hoax.
I doubt that’s what your thinking of if that actually happened….I mean nobody knows for sure unless you were there but How can u really say that, that would be terrifying you can’t say you wouldn’t be
Who the hell is going to take a picture when they're terrified to death?
The version of Rasputin's death that I heard from a high school history teacher I had said that Rasputin was fed a large amount of cyanide, shot multiple times, stabbed multiple times, knocked down a flight of stairs, and finally stuffed into a hole in the ice of a nearby river. When his body was later recovered, an autopsy said he was supposed to have died by drowning.
Dude do your Research!!! Rasputin was poisoned, shot, stabbed, castrated!! Even after all that HE threw himself into the river to try and escape!!!
Ironically the Demon House movie starring Octavia Spencer and Mo'nique comes out next year I believe. This house is legendary in Indiana and Chicago

Yes. It is. I live extremely close to where it use to be. There’s already a movie out about it. This will be a second one. If you do come looking for it, be considerate of the neighbors. It’s just an empty lot now.
@@LifeOfAnAngelMa I think this is a different movie.
Mary Queen of Scots. Scottish history is very interesting. Great video!
We still keep in touch and talk about that house on Carolina St.
The Ammon haunting is weird. Every previous owner of the house before the mother and children lived there have come forward to say they never experienced anything paranormal there, and there was no history of death on the property.
Its all fake.

Cataplexy is horrific. Your mind is COMPLETELY aware of what is going on around you but you can’t do anything about it. I suffer from this. Listening to everyone sing happy birthday at my daughter’s eighth birthday party and not being able to be a part of it was extremely hard on me. I have far too many moments like this. I hear EVERYTHING, I am aware of EVERYTHING I just can’t do anything about it.
The Aztecas terrified me since I first learned geography..As did the Apocalypto movie which was so hard 2watch 😬
I thought of that movie, I thought it was brilliant, I actually didn’t realise the Aztecs done that 😳
I hope you both realize that movie is as historically accurate as seeing Game of Thrones for the Lancaster vs York's War of the Roses.
@@AlexLococo ok now u have officially terrified me lol
@@mariecolette170 Yeah... the Aztecs weren't coquered because they were naive, god-loving people. It was because they were outright evil with those surrounding them... and that's coming from a mexican.

I remember seeing the mom and anti-believe crying on the news about how could they possibly fake this and why would they do it for attention which there's no denying that not too many little kids are going to be able to fake levitation and walk up walls and on ceilings
Regarding the house in Gary, IN -- the documentary Demon House with Zak Bagans is a great creepy ride, whether you believe the story or not.
Approximately 16 seconds. Thats about how long a human head can remain conscious once seperated from its body. Granted, I couldn't even begin to fathom how terrifyingly long and horrendous those seconds would be, but 15 full minutes just seems like quite an impossibility.
That could have been a reflex. If it even happened at all.
It’s a story . Who knows .
The house in Gary Indiana was bought by Zak Bagans , founder of of Ghost Adventures .
He had spent several nights in the house and filmed the entire thing .
I personally didn't see anything that would suggest it had 200 demons in the house but of course I'm sure they didn't show everything either .
The house was demolished soon after Zak had bought it .
Ahhhhhh, the first one! Was awesome!
Scariest thing I heard from this video: someone passing away from an ear infection while I have a very bad ear infection.
Hahaha right! You’ll be fine but I totally understand get better soon!!
I believe the house of 200 demons case to be 100% real. I remember it being on the local news and if you saw the kids' faces, you would be a believer too.
I remember seeing the boy being pushed or pulled back. It was definitely no joke..
How the hell it get that many demons? What went on in that house Before that family moved in? Someone should look into that.
@@krispinwahsghost5999 Could be a metaphysical hot spot for spirits. Nothing catastrophic has to happen there to have that many demons. Sometimes all it takes is someone trying to connect with the wrong spirit and they open up a portal for others to come through.
@@krispinwahsghost5999 previous owners of the house were probably black magic practitioners.

not quite Shure who the narrator of this is but you were narrating on tv the other day and i was so intrigued.
The first story is a prime example of how disgusting, cruel and barbaric filthy humans can be.
Lol they should have used a sharper axe I agree
Is #2 the Demon House that Zak Bagans from "Ghost Hunters" bought, almost went blind from battling a strong nasty demon, decided to demolish the house but kept the cellar stairs and now has them at his museum?
Yes
Why do I watch these right before I go to bed 🤦♂
I think the one about the two kids is from a true story that I know a lot about the house had to be torn down and I can't remember exactly how many demons the house was possessed by but it was a lot well into the hundreds
