Idk who the author is, but throughout this series I have caught a bunch of hints. Whoever it was was definitely military or police. Cool too hear. Love the series!
best kinds of authors is often those that either researches basics for the characters professions/life situations that is the 'eye' the reader see's the world through or those that have life experience to draw on and is clever to place the characters followed not in their lifes but in related professions to their experience while still humble enough to try read trivia of other fields experts to paint the world around them well
but ye , the details noted of locations and other things do make it look like the author may have military or police insight be it personal or second hand hmm.. that strikes a thought , someone working on their memories into a fictional setting to process them and the events they are tied to perhaps i heard worse ways to handle ptsd or other mental stuff to keep the neurons in shape ?
