How to - add bigger maps to Battlefield 2

- In this video I will explain how to get bigger maps for your Battlefield 2 single player game.
This vanilla mod also adds up to 600 tickets for each team, but I will still make another video to show how to make the amount of tickets even higher.
Sorry for forgetting to show my mouse cursor in this video.

There seem to have been some installer issues but "Pablo Mallmann Fenner" in the comment section found a good solution. Thank you man, I will share it here in the description!
SOLVED grey browse path:
create folders like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
Than move bf2 instaled files into the last folder
open regedit and create folders into Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
like this: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
and create the same folders into Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node
like this: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2
than left click on the folder "Battlefield 2", new, string value
rename this string value to "InstallDir" and put the path into value data "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2" (do the same in both regedit folders "Battlefield 2")
now run bf2all64 and install

guys i think i know the reason the grey browser path, it was because you download it from a zip file isntead of bf2 installer, resulting the mod folder not appering in the installer.

can't install the thing. it stops at the path greyed out, cause my game isn't not on steam i guess. can't press next or browse either. is there a way to install it manually maybe? i tried putting it in the bf2 or bf2/mods folder and running it from there but it won't help. same greyed out path and browse and next. maybe you could upload your folder with installed mod somewhere please? afaik one doesn't need the installer. it's nuff to just copy the folder to the mods folder in the game folder and it will appear in the mods list in game. thanx!
Sadly this mod seems to be flagging for 2 forms of malware now. Loved your bot increase vid, but I suppose we can't win them all lol.

you can go to the multi player and make your own server, but select 1 player with bots, select difficulty and number of the bots.
Not with the steam version unfortunately.
The support was dropped long ago.

64 and 32 maps are appearing in single player but maps cant start

Have you checked if you have enough disk space?
Otherwise installing battlefield II in your C:\ drive could also help.

- Use one display at the time, unplug the others
- Play with normal resolution (Can use a steam command line if you are using steam or windows properties)
- Not having other programs running that require fullscreen or rendering
- Starting the game straight from the directory
Less common solutions:
- Changing the settings files in the battlefield directories
- Taking out the intro video files which sometimes crash

i had the same Issue, you have to install the BF2 Update v1.41 and v1.5.
