Namur is a boring city, there is nothing to do there, its streets full of urine and people taking drugs in the surroundings of the river, also everything looks poorly arranged there, I live in Brussels and I remember spending 3 nights there and it was the worst decision, there is nothing to do just go to your Citadel
Hello WaWa. There are indeed some places which you mentioned based on my observation as well. We stayed for 2 nights facing the citadel across the river, we decided to stay not in the city as we did before. Staying a bit outside the center could be much better, like along the river Meuse which we actually did on our second visit. We liked it much better than the first one. Biking along the river Meuse from Namur to Dinant and back is also lovely. I enjoyed it a lot. You're right, the Citadel is indeed the peak of our visit. Still worth visiting just to see it.
