Going up against Wukong is the most rtarded move possible, the reasons being: 1. it's a passion project for Game Science, they are not going to ruin their vision and future for woke bullsht; 2. the mythology is a point of pride for the Chinese, any acceptance of outside meddling would not be viewed in good light; 3. Most chinese are strongly against western wokism. If Game Science accepted SB's meddling then they can kiss their reputation and Chinese market goodbye. Even if they make no money from global market the Chinese market is big enough to give them success, but without Chinese market it's their end. Agree with you but not so confident about point 3. There have been noises made on Chinese social media platforms by some “woman right”groups trying to rally people to boycott this game. Not all but many of these groups are funded, just saying. When ever these " consultants" make these types of threats (1) Call them out and publicly expose them (2) Compose a list of those " hit piece journalist " and give them nothing to write about. Going up against Wukong is the most rtarded move possible, the reasons being: 1. it's a passion project for Game Science, they are not going to ruin their vision and future for woke bullsht; 2. the mythology is a point of pride for the Chinese, any acceptance of outside meddling would not be viewed in good light; 3. Most chinese are strongly against western wokism. If Game Science accepted SB's meddling then they can kiss their reputation and Chinese market goodbye. Even if they make no money from global market the Chinese market is big enough to give them success, but without Chinese market it's their end. So SB basically just decided to try change a train's direction by colliding head-on. Whether or not this will affect Wukong's global sells is non-consequential to Game Science because by the number of sells in China alone is able to support them. On the other hand this exposes SB and opens a precedence of giving them the middle finger. If Wukong is also successful in global then it's a even bigger middle finger to SB. Others will follow suit soon.
Agree with you but not so confident about point 3. There have been noises made on Chinese social media platforms by some “woman right”groups trying to rally people to boycott this game. Not all but many of these groups are funded, just saying. That’s why i used quotation marks around “woman rights”, as these groups don’t genuinely care for women rights, but merely a paid voice to stir up shit on chinese social platforms. Just hope most of the Chinese won’t be brainwashed by these degenerates.

When ever these " consultants" make these types of threats (1) Call them out and publicly expose them (2) Compose a list of those " hit piece journalist " and give them nothing to write about. No demos, no official screen shots. No invitations to view anything behind the scenes or any playable copies.
