The first time I saw a centrifugal force puzzle taught me to always try spinning a puzzle that had me get things opposite of each other... I always love it when that happens to be the solution :) Although it's "simple", it's always hella satisfying!
The first time I saw a spinning move that worked was in the movie "The Manhattan Project" starring John Lithgow. th-cam.com/video/1FchBzRxkrM/w-d-xo.html
Matt Alexander the nail was also solved incorrectly. My grandparents had the same one and the correct solution doesn’t require any force. It’s difficult to tell, but I think they were reassembled backwards.
@@fearcaboose yeah but if he got them apart with slight force doesn't it count. I see no reason it doesnt, I mean he said he used force but I didn't see any. He wasnt bending anything i can understand the star puzzle being wrong but i dont think he was out of line on the bails
Can you show how? Between the five pieces there's only 5 acute corners, and they're on only on three pieces. I don't see how that can make a star without overlapping everything. Since many of the obtuse angles are 108 degrees, that pretty much rules out a 5 pointed star. A 6-pointed star with very blunt corners would be impossible as well, since we only have 5 pieces and no inside corners anywhere. In short: i don't see it. :( Do you have a solution?
@@fearcaboose he solved the nail one correctly. but by accident. He also solved it in reverse putting it together. I own tons of those "twist in some way to unstick" puzzles. I have the exact puzzle just with metal bars with a ball where the nail head would be instead of nails.
Please make a part 2. I really liked the wood square. I used to make a lot of puzzles like that in my uncle's wood shop. He had a book of different ones and I'd make them while he worked on his furniture. I'd love to see you do the rest of the puzzles in the boxes if you like.

This is great...these puzzles take me back to my childhood in the 60s driving around the country on vacation with my family. Most of the diners we'd stop in would sell these at the counter and they'd have sample versions to play with. Great way to keep us kids occupied waiting for our breakfast orders to arrive at the booth.
I ordered most of these from the backs of comic books in the 70's! The bashful lock is the most nostalgic for me. People got mad when I wouldn't tell them how to do it! When I watched you work on it I kept saying, "Turn it upside down!" Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
the nail puzzle at the end is one of my favorites, i had a teacher with a variety of ones like that, and that particular one i spent so much time solving over and over i learned how to solve it one handed and put it back together with one hand.
Great video thank you . That was a great vintage compendium of puzzles that you had there and probably collectible,I would love a set like that as it bought back so many nice memories of my childhood.
Besides the fact that these puzzles are technically not antiques, they are amazing and it's awesome to see some old puzzles! Hopefully Mr. Copperfield will grant you that request, keep up the amazing videos
Oh, I immediately recognized the flat moving puzzle at 0:04 (with the big square)! I first learned it as a mini game in the videogame Lufia II. Took me 8 hours to solve, later reduced to 8 minutes. :) Nostalgic and always interesting again. It seems to be a bit different though. This one has only two small squares instead of four and the bars are oriented differently. Not sure if it's another variation of the puzzle or was falsely modified over the years.
Wow man the opening of this with the music and the sound effects and the laugh 4 the cartoon guy on the box soooooo good. I seen your video when you were talking about some sponsor and how you use their software to do that type of stuff.... so inspiring. I would love to do stuff like that but seems overwhelming to begin
Art of play has like a cheap box of puzzles that includes the nail puzzle. My wife got it for me for Christmas because of your vids lol there’s a few I still haven’t solved
I love watching your puzzle videos because they help ease my mind and are so relaxing..... ....Cut to me at the 8:30 mark screaming “FUCKING SPIN IT!!” at my phone 😂🤣
When he picked up that "instant insanity" type puzzle, I thought, "here we go." Then the rascal solved it! I had to use graph theory to put mine back together. You da man, Chris.
My mom has a big version of that rollie pollie puzzle made of wood with 2 metal balls inside and a metal bar across the top. It was driving me crazy when you first started playing with it since spinning puzzles in one of your go to moves..... love the videos though... keep up the good work brother.
I’ve been binge watching this channel for awhile now.. 1 thing I’ve learned from the 100+ videos I’ve watched, is worst ad placement ever 🤯... love your channel

You need to do more magic tutorials! They are what started me coming here, and although I haven't been here long, I love the content. Makes me want to learn magic, and I've already learned a little
Chris, let me just say, I think "best in show" goes to your intro. Definitely the most interesting part of this video. No offense to the puzzles, but you can really tell how much effort you put into that intro. Amazing job sir!
Shoutout from a smaller channel earlier, lemon made actually made a cool puzzle you should check out! Always cool to see people I watch who are inspired by other people I watch! Definitely another dope vid today, thanks for enjoying the stuff you do enough to share it with us all!
You're so cool 😄 fun fact I always play a video of yours when I'm about to sleep and your voice helps me fall asleep in 5 minutes. (The clips are already watched haha wouldn't miss a thing)

That intro was amazing. It felt so nostalgic, like the TV magic shows I used to watch as a kid. ❤️
Some Harry Potter shit
It reminded me of the Yoshis Island Castle theme
Yeah, intro was AMAZING
I was going to say something like that. You said it better though.
THE MOST EPIC INTROS EVER.
First time i saw that the spinning move actually worked!! And sick harry potter kinda vibe intro.

That star puzzle was actually done incorrectly. Those pieces make a star, not just the negative space, believe it or not.
