    When I saw the President Choice bottle I realized you were from Canada! I always watch Japanese cooking videos, and it's such a relief to see cooking using ingredients you can find in Canadian grocery stores. Makes it even more motivating to get out and do some shopping for some yummy recipes. Thank you!

      Yes I'm living in Canada. I barely get any groceries from specific Japanese or Asian supermarkets, mostly standard stores. I'm so happy to hear you enjoy my cooking! 🥰

    I live in Canada too and it was so warm that I thought spring was here, but then the next day it started snowing 🥹
    Also if you have any more rice cooker recipes, I would love to watch them :) I think it's convenient to throw everything into the rice cooker without having to cook when you're busy haha

      Oh, you also live in Canada! Yes, one day it's spring, but the next day it's winter again 😂 It's definitely convenient to cook in the rice cooker! I'll try more rice cooker recipes!

    So lovely to see your son playing so well and happily! It's starting to warm up here in Toronto, so I hope it will warm up for you soon as well~~
    I have never tried to make chicken nanban! I hope that I can make it well. Yours looks so delicious! Do you make your own tartar sauce as well?
    Do you use pork loin or chop for the broccoli and pork dish? We don't buy pork often, but we do have some pork chop in the freezer ^^ maybe that can work for the dish.
    Hope you and your husband are doing well, and hope your son continues to grow happily~~ ^^ Thank you for always uploading and sharing with us!

      Thank you for your comment as always🥰 Yes, I make tartar sauce as well 😊 I just mixed boiled egg, minced onion & mayo. I use pork loin for the pork dish. I always have pork loin slices in my freezer for Tonkatsu 😆 I'll try pork chop next time!

      Thank you so much! I don't know it's right or not, but I just wrap veggies with plastic bags and keep them in the fridge, but I use them within a week 😊

    Your side dishes are wonderful too.
    What did you put in the rice you had with chicken dinner?

    • @whatsfordinner_japanese

      Thank you so much 😊 I put pearl barley in the rice. I roast pearl barley to make tea, then I cooked them with rice.

    In the first recipe, she uses vinegar. Is that regular whote distilled vinegar?

    • @whatsfordinner_japanese
      @whatsfordinner_japanese  2 หลายเดือนก่อน
