    Unrelated, but it's kinda interesting that it's majorly women who are usually on your comment sections. It's disappointing that we don't have more single men (like myself) on here. I will definitely try and share your vids with some of my homies because your content is super educational and I love it.

      Thanks a lot Patrobas. Yes, do share. That would be great to get more dudes engaged in the conversations. Though I have met a number of people who say they watch on TV, which doesn't give provision to comment. Some say they watch with their wives or girlfriend who will comment on their behalf. 😂

    Sometimes l dont feel like building a home is an investment. Using a real Example, we bought a land somewhere in the outskirt of Nrb, Our budget for the house we wanted was around 13m which means we had to take a loan. We sat and thought so much about it. Investing 13m in a house that will not give me a coin. I did calculations of the rent l pay and saw if l lived in rental, That 13m would pay my rent for 260 months which is close to 22yrs. According to my maths l better use the money to buy more lands and keep on selling after every few years and put up some business that will keep on generating money. l will build a home when having a very good cash flow. My peace of mind

    Karebe has great wisdom. I like that he breaks the pressures of Having Money... Cheers to better family financial decisions.

    If I would go back in time, I would invest more in our honeymoon.
    Following Soila's thought on investment ideas as a family, is owning a home considered as an investment, or is it an asset?

  • @brianonganga2636
    @brianonganga2636 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This is great material. Keep it up.
    A question for you, isn't it better to have these questions during the pre-marital period as you sign pre-nuptial agreements for both parties? I believe signing pre-nuptial agreements will shed more light on the money habits of the couple before entering the marriage.

    • @kandisphere8828
      @kandisphere8828 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am a born-again Christian, and I also think that prenups are necessary in marriage. People are willing to enter into a marriage contract as defined by the government under the general Marriage Act, but most people especially Christians, would have a problem with writing their own Marriage Act/own marriage terms and conditions.

    • @SoilaandCurtis
      @SoilaandCurtis  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a very critical observation. Pre-nuptials sometimes are tricky and can be misapplied wrongly if people have agendas. The lack of it can also bring issues if a spouse has wrong intentions. This is definitely a conversation worth having. We can structure it for the next one.

    Money and God. I once asked God to give money to pay off my debts. God being faithful, gave me a dream about the kind of job he would give even right down to my position.{I know the details because I journalled it} So the time came and I had the position and the money and to be quiet honest the debts were the last thing on my mind because there just seemed to be greater needs at that point in my life even giving to others and more. When I realized this, the job was gone, but I now understand that clearly my debts only bother me when I don't have money but when I do they don't. Maybe Karembe can give me perspective where this is concerned.
