  • Here are five Czech foods that I find to be terrible. Three of which I have tried and will never eat again. The other two foods are so horrible to me that I will never ever try them.
    This video is meant as fun. I mean no offence to anyone.

    Great point about the slices of bread. I've had the steak tatare a few times and it's only given me the runs once! There's also raw egg in it so that probably had something to do with it. Count yourself lucky that you're not in Germany or Poland where they have raw pork!

      Haha. Or France, where they delight in downing frogs legs and snails.

    Dan(?), you are certainly free to eat what you like and don't eat what you dislike, even if you are one of that crazy vegans. Esp. eating mudfishes (kapry) on the Christmas is minimally 800 year tradition here (lent!), and you can see special fish ponds in South Bohemia made from mosquito swamps as early as in the 16th century. - But I know the Brits have a very similar sense of humour as we have.

      Thanks for your comment. And I am no vegan.

    Mate, I eat nearly anything but seeing some of the things they eat in Czech, it would put me off too. Fairplay for moving away n sacrificing a Sunday roast dinner etc, cos as we know that is the "creme de la creme" 😋

      Yes. The best Sunday dinners in the world can be found in most English homes each weekend and I truly miss those mothers.

    English suet dumplings are quite similar to the Czech ones?

    • @brit-in-czech
      @brit-in-czech  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I never ever tried the suet version. Perhaps had I of done I would not be so disappointed with these Czech ones.

      Let´s try potatoe dumpligns guys..different taste, much better. I can imagine, that typical Czech dumplings - breaded are not popular for you.
