The problem with insurance is, that the innocent party shouldn't have to pay ANYTHING. But they do when they get their car fixed and have to pay their deductible and wait to be reimbursed by the guilty party's insurance. What if they aren't even insured? It makes more sense for the insurance companies that we pay, to cover damages that aren't our fault and then sort it out with the guilty party and/or their insurance company. That's their job.

The deductible goes to the body shop that's repairing the vehicle, not the insurance company. It's like health insurance....let's say you have a $40 copay that you have to pay to the dr office after the visit. That doctor visit didn't cost $40, it more than likely is costing $100+, you pay the first $40, insurance pays for the rest. Same applies to car insurance.

You dont have to pay for the damage you caused AS LONG AS YOU CARRY PROPERTY DAMAGE, not COLLISION. Collision is for your vehicle...not the other party. For the most part this video has it right....until they get into collision.....

The other drivers adjuster says medical is covered by my insurance so I was wondering will there be a deductible for using my insurance because I thought is was all thru their insurance.

You should shop around different companies to find the cheapest rates. Simply call ask and compare the prices. Geico, Statefarm, All state, USAA, etc. Cheapest form is liability only coverage but it doesn't protect you against things that Full Coverage does.

Once you pay the deductible off completely is it paid forever well until or unless you get into an accident
