    I love the fact that this man fixed a crappy old mower just so he could use it as a shaker-table for the gas tank.

    I love both the 521 series and the 620 series Datsun/Nissan trucks along with the Ford Courier trucks to. The Dodge D 50 trucks also were really great looking little trucks to. And the 1972 till the 1980 Chevy Light Utility Vehicles design is pretty good looking to. I love them all, love little trucks very, very much. Wish they would still manufacture them today here in 2024.

      Yeah little trucks are awesome and practical. Seems like regulations made them unprofitable to manufacture. I’ll keep putting the old ones back on the road though.
      The D50 I’m working on now really is a nice unit. The 2.6 actually makes decent power.

      @@fabricobbletechThose were actually Mitsubishi trucks with Mitsubishi engines in them. Still, they were a good looking little truck to, nice, plain simple design, gas saving little trucks. Man I wish they were all still made today, I love small 4 cylinder engines, small cars and trucks.

      I'd really like to be more active posting but there's only so much time in the day. I've got a regular day job then I farm on the side which consumed almost all of my spare time this summer trying to keep weeds at bay. TH-cam actually takes a lot of time just attempting to deliver quality content! Farm duties slow down in the winter for a bit so hopefully have more time.

      Lmao, because of my mustache? 🤣 The millermatic welding machine sure makes it a lot easier than my old machine that would change wire feed rates every time I moved a little. I have an apron now too so not having molten metal land in my belly button helps keep focus. Thanks for watching!

    Ive had great luck with a product called Water wetter. Takes all the air bubbles out of the coolant mixture lowering temp.

    • @fabricobbletech
      @fabricobbletech 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've used that before in my car. I think a big part of my LUV running hot is thermostat didn't really open much until 190. Still wasn't, what I would consider, fully open at 205F. With the 160F thermostat my fan doesn't even come on going down the road and temp gauge stays right in the middle. May be a bit too low once the temp drops but that's yet to be seen

    Reckon you 800cfm should be good enough if you had space for a cowl it makes major difference in efficiency...using one on my 94 mazda bakkie no issues since I used the factory cowl...just my opinion

    • @fabricobbletech
      @fabricobbletech 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I looked up the fan that was on there and it was only 650cfm. I’d assume 800 would be fine with a properly functioning thermostat. With the 160F thermostat my fan doesn’t even come one unless I’m idling around. On a hot summer day that might change. But yeah, 3,000cfm is definitely overkill.

    Did you unplug the vac advance when you adjusted the timing?

    • @fabricobbletech
      @fabricobbletech 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I forgot to mention that but yes I did. However, it is plumbed into a timed vacuum port, on carburetor, that doesn’t see any vacuum unless throttle is opened beyond idle position. This prevents vacuum advance at idle.
