If anything, luxury cars need to go back to what made luxury cars luxury cars. Sure, update the tech and the engines and add your hybrids, but everyone wants a sporty luxury car now, which is kind of like being an evangelical porn star. As someone with chronic pain, trying to find a comfortable car that isn't trying to make me think it's made for Zoomers or race car drivers is frustrating. Every car now looks bloated instead of boxy and classy. They all look the same. This stood out because it was different. Now the seats look like every other souped up car on the road, ready to send you to the chiropractor or the ER. I had the 2008 version and it was great for a modern car. Very comfortable all things considered and had the 5.8 with MDS and AWD. I almost feel like I need a bank loan for a Rolls Royce (or rob the bank 🤣) to find something that isn't going to make me want to chug the whole bottle of Tylenol. Chronic pain is terrible, especially when you can't drive around because the seats are so uncomfortable and the suspension is so stiff.
My sister has a 2005 300. It's 18 years old but it's still a nice comfortable reliable car. She got a new paint job because the clear coat was going on top. Now it looks brand new. It's a shame Chrysler killed these cars.
Currently have this as a rental and I am impressed. Never drove such a big sedan and it feels nice inside. Its a bit dated inside, but I like it. The exterior is so aggressive. 19" wheels look great. I think it's a pretty cool car to own if it's reliable.
Stellantis could’ve at least updated the infotainment on these dinosaurs. The Charger/Challenger/300 should’ve got the Uconnect 5 that’s in their other newer vehicles.
I actually like how the screen is facing a bit more at you and is at your shoulder levels with the car so you can keep a good eye on the road and the screen, those long screens can get distracting, in the trucks not bad tho bc again it kinda meets at the shoulder level where if they tried the big screen in the challenger/charger/300 models not only would they have to had rearrange the whole center console, but gear shifter as well, or would have to remodel it to set back further, just more work than they have to. Always nice to think tho
If Stellantis redesigned the interior, I'm sure it would be AMAZING considering how great the Ram pickup truck interiors are. It's too bad the 300 is going away at the end of the year.
I love my 300s was at dealer hours then when they drove this up to me said oh yes I want it classic but sporty looks it’s almost fully loaded missing adjustable peddles , auto wipers didn’t need still love it to this day it’s a 2017 with 88, ooo miles on it and the beats 10 speaker system best car I’ve had p.s.has the pano- roof too im 6.1 ft love long drives
I am well past due for an upgrade from my current vehicle. My search is always in the midsize car segment, Accord, Camry, K5, etc. I have become interested in the 300. From your experience reviewing all of these cars, would you consider this vehicle over those I mentioned? Thanks in advance.
I wouldn’t necessarily consider the 300 over those mentioned, BUT, each choice has its own pros and cons. I think the 300 looks the best from a luxury standpoint though.
Good job! I have the 2020 C with everything offered. I never used most of it. I'm going back to that model. The back shade is fun for when you get high beamed
I really miss my SRT 300 it died at 256,000miles and the only reason I don't have it anymore is because the freaking potholes in Chicago destroyed the engine cradle
Picked up a 2022 Touring L AWD in white with the linen interior, though with the 19" ( better ride). at least their known issues have a fix for them now, like the V6's oil cooler. At least there isn't a bloody CVT to worry about...
While it is a smaller car for different people, the flagship black label Lincoln mkz 3.0 tt from 2020 was the same price with 100 more HP and same 8 speed active suspension 16 speakers, does this car have benefits over the mkz?
My dream car as a daily with the v8. Shame they didn’t update this car much. I’ve always loved big sedans. And be cool to have a classic American car like this with the V8. Idc what anyone thinks, even with its age still a good looking car. It’s entry level luxury. Basically a fancy charger. I’d take this over a Mercedes or bmw. More reliable parts are cheaper. People hate on mopar but the newer ones are not bad as far as reliability goes. And if you get the V8 this car is a sleeper and blends in on the road. So it has that factor too.
Yeah but not everyone wants a front wheel drive that's literally just as fast and looks good but generic. The 300 is special. There's nothing about the es350 that screams BETTER, it's just ANOTHER OPTION.
@@teehenessy3020 everything about the ES350 screams BETTER!!! Engine, transmission, build quality, interior design, refinement, fit and finish, resale value. Who cares about a rear wheel drive V6 😂

Still the best looking Sedan on the market.
Woah
Wish Chrysler would’ve updated this car. Actually great looking car for its age
Yes, need to make an electric version to go with the electric charger.

Same clock, radio, backup camera, seats, etc in my 2018. Glad they kept it the same.

I have the frost bite 300L AWD with the white interior and black stitching. Everytime I see it in my drive way I never regret buying it.
Yep white on white with the AWD, can't go wrong.
I believe you, they are an awesome car for the money.

The American sedan at its best.

I just bought a ‘23 Touring L and my 3.6 did not have a cover. Anyone else seen a 300 not have a cover?
