I've also been to Copan Mayan ruins (which is shown in the video) and have seen the monkey statue. I was quite influenced by ancient Hindu cosmologists in concurring with the later not the younger Stephen Hawking in rejecting the mainstream Big Bang theory of cosmic creation. My working theory is in line with Hindu cosmology: the universe is cyclical, expanding as it is now until the cosmic tide turns, contracting for many millions of years gaining density until the cosmic tide turns, then another rising tide of cosmic expansion. Moreoever, civilization of which true spirituality is a glowing example, is many, many millions of years old and spans many star systems and physical and non-physical realms, the universe being only one central one. This is reality; and the Hindu cosmologists knew this well before Newton.
