She didn't meant to Lipsyinc, most idols have Backtrack music but still sings,which is same as this,but at the first part, Jennie was Confused and Scared since she had a Malfunction, so she forgot to sing,her malfunction was totally an emergency,since their Dances are to "Movey" And like it needs a lot of arm movements,she was Confuse, since it's her First Malfunction,She can't just ask her members to fix it since she's a woman, and needs to be more private in it,she didn't really dance since she was totally Confused, until she made her decision and went backstage to fix her malfunction,and after that her attitude,presence came back and then she started singing, like nothing happened,This is not Called Unprofessional it's called "being a girl".

Actually she COULD have done a bit more rather than just slowly walking around. She could leave her hands on her chest but she just looked way too lost. Or she could have run off-stage immediately to fix it. It might have even looked better if she ran off-stage right away after her lines, even if she stayed off-stage for over a minute. The choreo for the song uses individual members, so it's very noticeable if one's there but not doing the movements, as opposed to just the three moving bodies with no extra stationary one. Anything...as long as she doesn't walk around the stage slowly and aimlessly for a good minute. Essentially, you need to rush to fix whatever goes wrong. As a performer, it's always a priority to keep the illusion of the performance no matter what happens to you (barring an injury or a massive wardrobe malfunction of course) -- the show must go on, as they say -- so she could have moved at least in time to the rest of the choreo. Even just going to her positions without doing any of the arm movements would have been fine. But she literally just walked around looking at the stage crew. That said, though, I understand she might have been too shell-shocked to think about anything else. It's a bad , understandable, and justified reaction all at the same time. She could have handled it better yes, but it's also not a permanent mark of her being an unprofessional performer. Perhaps she was waiting for the stage manager to tell her where to go (left, right, down, where). She just needed more presence of mind.
