    Can you do a video on Natp and more importantly clearence divers

    • @PrairieSailor

      I have lots of videos on Port Inspection Divers which we have in the Reserves. I don't have a lot of access to clearance divers so I probably won't be making a video anytime soon.

      I don't think I'll make a full video on this. The occupation is called Legal Officer: forces.ca/en/career/legal-officer/

    Hey man I know this is late but I had a question I was hoping you could answer:
    Can you make a video about the special ops and recruitment regarding them?

    • @PrairieSailor

      Hi, I won't be making a video on that in the near future, but this one is a very good summary: th-cam.com/video/cjNqgmgbx0o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hbatjN_i82t10Ew_

      In general you must already be a CAF member and completed standard training before applying for Special Operations units. More details here: www.canada.ca/en/special-operations-forces-command/corporate/job-opportunities/how-to-join.html
      Good luck!!

    Hello Sir, I am going to apply for ROTP and planning to go for my CFAT next month. My question is, at what point is FORCE evaluation test conducted for ROTP members ?

    • @PrairieSailor

      For ROTP, which is a Regular Force program, the Force Evaluation is conducted on BMQ - so after you have been enrolled. The Force Eval is only conducted before enrolment for Reservists.

    Hello Sir, I know it is a very subjective question but I would like to have some insight on this. Verbal Skills: 11/15, Spatial Ability: 7/10, Problem Solving:27/30. How good are these scores ? Will I qualify for ROTP with this score? Also, Anyone who has gone for CFAT and can share their views is highly appreciated. Thanks.

    • @PrairieSailor

      I won't comment on specific scores, but I will let you know that ROTP is a competitive application process. You are better off asking your recruiter, they should be permitted to give you at least a percentile range you fall into if you ask for it.

    Thank you for sharing this video, I just passed the CFAT and next step is waiting for background check , is it possible for you to have a video to introduce about deployment in CAF because it is one of the most important factors which might be affect candidates to become a military member especially I have two little ones without parents’ support . If you can make a new video about this , I really appreciate it. Thanks

    • @PrairieSailor

      Are you applying for Regular Force or Reserve? Please let me know what questions you have about deployments. I will not be making a dedicated video on this topic for awhile.

    • @USCADCHN

      @@PrairieSailor I am apply for regular forces, actually I choose NCM on air forces, the question about deployment is how often( for example, US military move to another military base every three years) . Can military member refuse to deploy to another bases? If not, when member can come back home base. All the questions are based on I want to stay home base during the contact , thus I can take my family rather than move move move .

      @@USCADCHN I am in the Reserve so I have less experience with this. What I have been told is that yes postings are usually 3 years and people are required to move sometimes. I have also been told that in more recent years a better effort is being made to allow people to have input on where they live and to move around less. However it is still possible you may be required to move whether you like it or not.

    I have a question about i took the CFAT on august 1st and recruiter told my result was excellent.I gave my all documents and he told me to wait for interview and medical check. Before that they are going to do background check.It's been almost 2 months and no one contacted me yet. Is it because I am a PR that it is taking so long? And how long will I wait? Like 3 months ? 6 months? A year? Thanks.

    • @PrairieSailor

      Call and email them requesting an update. A standard Security Clearance can take an average of 3 weeks to 3 months. If you have to do the longer one it can take 6 months - 18 months. This can happen for PR applicants and Canadian Citizen applicants as well.
