When you lose your mojo losing the feel you get get a couple of acoustic guitars but they don't quite do it for you so you get a 12 string and watch Leo the whole musical world opens up for you. Now the guilt from not picking up my guitar disappears .because I pick it up every time I look at it. Leo did this for me. I'm 70 and feel like I'm 11 again playing my 12 string at 1am.
Sorry for leaving this info out, but I recorded this show at Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks. Opening act was the Horseflies, which I also videotaped. It was the "first music festival" in the Adirondacks.
Incredible musicianship. Saw him live three times.
That left hand is on an advanced PHD level. Right hand ain't shabby either.
you seem to know what you're talking about
@@spwim Just an appreciative long-time fan of Leo's. But thanks for the compliment.
I can never get enough of Leo’s music and anecdotes on life! He is a genius!😊❤

I interviewed him that day for WXLE 104.5 Acoustic Sunrise.
Is there a recording of that interview?
This man is phenomenal. I do hear strains of Leon Redbone influence in there.
Interesting, never noticed it until now. RIP Leon, one of the greats.
I like his slow clean finger picking. Also the open tunings he uses.
Leo came a bit before Leon. Definitely similar listening audiences followed both.
Great job recording this. Just how I remember himXO!!!
Ooo I'll have to dig through my radio memorabilia. Will let you know if I find it.
the humor
Do you happen to know where this was? I can't find anything about this date anywhere. Great upload.

@@andrewjurman3256Thanks man. I appreciate it!
he allowed filming? No problem with staff, etc?
Back then the atmosphere was more relaxed, and recording was not an issue.
