THAT guitar and THAT amp make a sound that nothing else can...IN the hands of a Van Halen. It's obviously cool to hear that Wolf has the fingers and the touch. He doesn't sound like Ed. But, he sounds like a "Van Halen" should. The guy has the DNA, but it takes tremendous effort to put it to work. He clearly has.
And we all thought Ed's gift to us was his own playing... Wolf is Ed's true masterpiece. What a gift... Sky's the limit for WVH. He's the best there is in my opinion. Nobody does it like that anymore...
And his father would have it no other way! Ed had been singing Wolf's praises for a very long time. (He didn't bring him into Van Halen just because he was his son, which of course he loved immensely, he did so because the kid could flat out play!). Ed heard the 1st album before anyone of course, & had been telling everyone, "Just wait until you hear it!". He KNEW how good the music is. What a happy conclusion for Wolfgang, all of his individual success, amongst such intense sadness at the loss of his father, & best friend. Ed was extremely proud of Wolfgang & would no doubt be thrilled with how this song turned out. Wolf killed it! ❤️🎶🎸
He learned from one of the best guitar players and got a bonus gift of an amazing drummer for an uncle. Who obviously had this man on his knee as a child. He's a double, scratch that, that a triple threat ❤ great pipes as well❤❤
I agree! I first heard his voice on the radio and immediately thought *I have to know who this is* I can't place why I love his voice so much but it's awesome.

It will always be very raw emotions for me. Eddie brought me so many smiles and happiness, watching him play, hearing him,and his glorious smile. Thank you,Wolf..for keeping him still here with us, through you and your music.
As a 60-year old guy who has grown up with a wide variety of musical interests, I have to say that I LOVE this song, the writing, the playing, the vocals, everything. Wolfie, you have absolutely evolved into your own person. Congratulations to you. I just hope everyone else will realize who you are, and what you have to offer, as opposed to just being "Eddie's kid." This is amazing stuff. Definitely 90s alt-rock inspired, but a timeless feel to it.
This is my favorite thing he's done so far. Wont be an easy road but he will carve out his own spot. Real music fans will be his following. His Dads shoes are giant. He's smart enough to know he's making his own shoes. Rock on Wolfie!
Somehow you can just hear that is Frankie in the solo! That squeal and harmonics are so good to hear again. Wolf, you rock brother and your Dad is proud as hell! 🤘
Great song Wolf! I lost my mother to oral cancer right after your dad passed away. She was the same age as him too. I grew up on Van Halen. You can hear shades of his father, but Wolf’s unique sound shines through like a beacon in the darkness!! This song signifies everything that MammothWVH is! I can’t wait to see this song played live! @timw.6910 same here. For some reason I've been listening to a lot of Van Halen interviews. Also just finished the audio book Eruption. Truly a fantastic book that gives new insight on Eddie's life...
Incredible song. The hair stood up on my arms when the solo started, because it's the old school VH sound. Great job! Wolfgang has developed his own sound with hints of his lineage. Incredible.
Frankie sounds amazing! Same great tone. Warm and familiar. Like coming home... yet Wolf injects his own signature into the sound, as well. A perfect fusion of old and new.

That solo sent chills down my back.... When your dad said you should hear some of Wolf's stuff it's incredible... He wasn't lying... I'm gonna have to buy the next CD... The first one is awesome... Really good song!!
This guy keeps on handing out surprises in musical form, like Santa does presents at Christmas time... This track utterly slays.... It's completely unpredictable, and it's beautiful at the same time. So far, it's my favorite track on this album. Somewhere up there, Edward is grinning from ear to ear, with tears in his eyes. Everything he said about Wolf is true.
Can anyone begin to wrap their head around how immensely proud his dad would be? The best yet from young Mr. Van Halen and I think he’s just beginning to find himself musically.
Wolfgang has become a tremendous musician his dad would definitely be very proud of him. This song is a great song and I hear his dad‘s guitar you can almost hear a little bit of his dad coming through his son how amazing is that. I can imagine Wolfgang playing the solo to this and paying homage to his Dad, sweat and tears pouring down in the studio. Very musical solo and rhythm reminds me of the solo section to In the Dead of night by UK. Awesome to hear what comes out of this kid musically, whether he is a Van Halen or not.

Sophomore album I’m watching Wolfgang grow up, as in this is a wonderfully awesome album. It’s not about reliving Van Halen, Wolfgang is very talented, can sing well. I absolutely love the songs. Yeah he could sit around and play guitar for the 80’s crowd. But he’s formed a hell of a 2023 band that’s very much different. I love to watch his talent. He makes great music thsts all his own. His dad may be the most famous guitarist ever but this young man is in no one’s shadow, he’s damn talented.

I can't say enough great things about his music. Congratulations Wolf, you literally just blew this 58 year old gal away with your talent.
I love it! I don’t consider this channeling Ed. This solo is a good example of the style Wolfgang is forging on his own. He’s has an excellent mix of both thought out tasty controlled phrasing AND spontaneous exciting interruptions. Well done Wolfgang
What a great vocal from Wolf! His voice is so great...everybody talks about all the instruments he plays so well...rightly so. But dig his voice...it is insanely good!
The solo is a wonderful, heartwarming tribute to his Dad If Eddie was still with us Van Halen would be doing this song in concert with Eddie blazing the solo

Very musical solo and rhythm reminds me of the solo section to In the Dead of night by UK. Awesome to hear what comes out of this kid musically, whether he is a Van Halen or not.
This is the song that’s get you on main stream young man!! Keep shining!! Your dad is grinning ear to ear w that big smile he had watching down on you!!
Awesome! This is Wolf. This is what I want to hear on the radio today. No need to use the VH even though he has a cool dad.
That. Solo. And the history of the guitar behind it. 🤘🏻🇺🇸🎸 tremendous. Just tremendous. All hail WVH
Saw your Pop in 78. Straight outta Pasadena. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Cool tune.
Killer track Wolf!!! This song is such a vibe
❤ 🎸THIS DOES NOT SUCK AT ALL! BLOWN AWAY!!! 🎸 ❤
The tone, the breaks, the groove! As for the solo, it gave me goose bumps! 🤘🏻 I’m so excited for this album! Amazing job Wolf!
So good to hear the frankenstrat again..Awesome job Wolf.
Awesome song Wolfie!!!! I can clearly hear this is one of songs that you used your Dad's axe and rig on..... sounded awesome! Can't wait to hear the next release!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best song so far, this band gonna become big
LETS GOOOO!!!!!!! Killer track Wolfie!!!! I hear Frankie too!!!!! ❤🖤🤍
Omg 😳 the tone, timing and feel of that guitar solo is incredible!! Amazing stuff Wolf
Literally got chills listening to this. WOW!!! The solo...pure bliss!! Wolf may be the son of a rock god but he is proving he has his own unique style that deserves to be noticed. I can't say enough great things about his music. Congratulations Wolf, you literally just blew this 58 year old gal away with your talent.
This is the sound of the future with some taste of the past jus great Wolf looking forward to get your second Cd ! Bravo Dude!!
Your solos make me cry dude. Seriously. Your dad is proud up there.
Again another great song. Can’t wait till Saturday at Wembley
That’s crushing, dude! You keep raising your game!
I dont think I have listened to a musician where every time a new song from him its an instant hit for me
That solo intro has a little Neal Schon feel to it with a little Satriani inspired touch !!!!
Wow !!!!
Love this track !!!❤❤❤
I love it! I don’t consider this channeling Ed. This solo is a good example of the style Wolfgang is forging on his own. He’s has an excellent mix of both thought out tasty controlled phrasing AND spontaneous exciting interruptions.
Well done Wolfgang
Wolf is the man!! Can’t wait to see Mammoth again in November!! Rock on!!!
I think there are no limits what Wolfgang is able to do musically. I could‘t be more impressed.
Another killer song.
Mammoth is fantastic!!!
This tune couldn't be more perfect! I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes during that solo. Thanks for another masterpiece, Wolfie!!
I LOVE MAMMOTH WVH
Me too!
who doesn't!❤
The kid's got it Fer sure.
And "A SINGER'S SINGER, IN A TIMELESS WAY, as well..... I HAVE to Laugh, and let the Tears roll while I'm grinning...
I love this, getting a huge kick ass solo within a great song...epic 👍
What a great vocal from Wolf! His voice is so great...everybody talks about all the instruments he plays so well...rightly so. But dig his voice...it is insanely good!
The solo is a wonderful, heartwarming tribute to his Dad
If Eddie was still with us Van Halen would be doing this song in concert with Eddie blazing the solo
Face melting solo 🤘
