    Kuminga is the only young player on their roster that should be untouchable. Podz has great potential but that shouldn’t come before maximizing Steph’s championship window. Even if he does evolve into that, it wont be in Curry's playoff window (2 years.) If you don't want to risk the future (which I honestly get & respect,) then you have to trade Curry this season. His value will only tank over the next few years. Makes zero sense to keep the current roster, not improve, and then not tank for a high draft pick in the stacked '25 draft. You need to make up your mind. Being a first round playoff exit team over the next two years is the worst possible option in my opinion. Either get Lauri for Brandon P & picks (or similar player) or trade your positive old assets.

    • @tonysobon4669

Klay is a legend for our team but he wasn't playing great and Chris Paul had to go given his contract size and the need to play Podz and Moody more.

    They should have gotten rid of podz for markkonen FOR SURE! This is what they are lacking is a big man that can move and shoot. His basically like a white KD but slightly not as good and he’s young. So they missed out on that one.

    I feel like podz is golden in one year he already made himself very usefull on a roster with cp3 and Steph and he was not an high pick so he came without a big hype pushing him, he could bring more to a team than Markkenen for me, just not this year maybe

    It was good that trade didnt happen. I mean, GSW have that psycho in they team. Draymond hit, stomp, kick and strangle european players all the time. AND he has history punch his teammates too. It would be disaster if ANY european player goes there. Draymond need some professional help for his problems in his own head. He start to look like LeBalco, destroy organization where he plays and everyone in they team suffer for that. Especially Curry.

    I suspect we will get to see weather or not Curry is desperate for one or 2 more rings. There are a couple of teams he could go to that would be the real deal with him. For me the most interesting one would be to OKC for Dort + roster fillers and picks. It would help to set up Warriors for a rebuild and considering they have not gone all in this offseason they have probably painted themselves into a rebuild corner now.

    The Warriors are showing us why teams take so long to part with bad players. As a sixers fan I understood why they didn’t want to sign Thompson. They didn’t want to be stuck with a huge contract for a player who wasn’t living up to it and potentially end up like the 76ers being stuck with Harris. In contrast at least the 76ers have a Harris. Now I understand, you keep what you can unless you’re able to get something fair in trade. Warriors hands down should have paid Thompson and dealt with what they had, instead of having nothing.

    This is all the Donkeys fault. How you argue with the best teammate in the team on shot selection. Punch a fellow player in the face, talk trash behind the second option on the team. And always foul out in serious games cause you can’t control your temper. Warriors clearly need to change up the script cause it’s not working.

    Great video. I am not a fan of dynasties to be honest, so I am glad to see this in some ways. I feel kind of bad for the fans, from being there myself. that said. this was a poor attempt by GSW management and I think the media really framed this in a poor way. as an avid jazz fan, it was very clear from the beginning that the jazz where doing their job by listening and they stated from the start that first interview after the season that they where going big game hunting, if they don't get anyone then they will pivit. they stated that they liked LM and feel that he could still be great into the mid 30's and that he loves it in utah. not sure if it's the same interview, but they said on multiple ways that it would take something to blow them away. gs just never offered that to blow a team away.

    I think the warriors honestly are sitting in the best spot. The dark horse. They are free of expectations. The were heavily criticized for two years more noticeable last year for not developing home grown talent. Though i think a player like pool could've helped the warriors last year, the mentality of pool seemed to be what Golden state wished to distant themselves from. It does not translate to winning basketball. There has been heavy expectations and burden for years on Klay Thompson and team chemistry so much so that it disrupts actual games. He is gone, though i think golden state would much rather have him, i don't think he mentally had the mindset to continue with them and it translate to non winning basket ball. The warriors now seem to be revisiting a more balanced position playstyle that will compliment curry's play making and scoring potential as they have been steadily building players that work within the paint: be it post-ups, encroaching shot selections, and heavier emphasis on finishing at the rim. It only serves to open the three point shooting efficiency. Allowing kumenga and podjemski to develop their offensive style of play freely without having to find pieces that replicate the splash bro potential. So im not to worried, its a rebuild and their pick up have size to them, which looks to address the other issue fans and media had about golden states small lineup. Its a we will see.

    Lauri was a role player for 2 other teams before Utah. Utah gave him the chance and he showed he’s a star. Why would you want to leave after that? Plus before gutting the team the jazz over performed and held the #1 seed for a while 2 seasons ago and even over performed last year before they gutted it more. Lauri is 26. He has at least 5 more good seasons (if no major injuries occur). Hes a 7 footer with handles. Hes not the best player defensively but he’s not a liability. He averages 25 and 5. Moses moody and picks is honestly a slap in face. He’s wayy better than Golbert and in my opinion Mitchell

    Jazz fan here and just my perspective on the picks from GS that would have come back in the lauri trade. If they traded lauri any swaps the jazz have in the next 5 years including GS swaps throw those in the garbage because the jazz are probably going to be bottom 5 for at least three if not more years depending on the lottery. And if GS gets to keep all their young players and gets a 27 year old all star I don’t see them being anywhere close to the lottery for the next 5-6 years unless they have a year with horrible injury luck. Which only helps the jazz if that year is one they have the pick and not a swap.

    • @mckinleycutler1366
      @mckinleycutler1366 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Long story short the jazz already have a bunch of mediocre picks and swaps from Cleveland and Minnesota they don’t need or want any more what they want is picks with a high chance of landing in the lottery or good young prospects and neither of those where in the proposed trade.
