A Trip to Crimdon Dene Beach

- In this Episode we take a trip to Crimdon Dene Beach in County Durham. This is a hidden gem on the east coast of the UK, and has beautiful sandy beaches with sand dunes, and is a must see destination. You are not allowed to park up on the sea front as they have signs for no camping, but just around the corner there are no signs to say you cant stay for the night.

Thank you so so much :) it's great to be filming again :) as it's been far too long! What issues have you been having? I finally found my starting stalling issue and it was an issue with the fuel cooler it had a crack in it meaning it was drawing air in and causing the engine to not get enough fuel so I bypassed it and running fine now :) x
@@YorkshireCampers how crazy x ours was a bolt that wasn’t right so doing the same thing x it’s sorted now but on one trip most of our engine ended up on a petrol station floor x
But fun memories once we eventually got home 😂

Is your fridge able to run on gas? We only run on electric with the fridge when we are on hook up. If we are off hook up we use gas. Fridges are power eaters so that's the best way 😁x
Yeah it's able to run off gas, do you run yours on gas during the night? I was thinking on running on lecy during the day as I have solar panels but on a night run it off gas and save my battery :)
Thank you took a while off TH-cam for a few months as needed a break as had a lot going on with the bike, motorhome, job so needed a break from it but felt in a good place to make videos again :)
@@YorkshireCampers when off grid we just have it on gas. Use the leisure battery/ power stations for everything else and top those up with solar 😁
A three way fridge should only run on battery when the engine is running, they are too heavy on batteries when parked up. There should be a relay that cuts battery power when you stop the engine. I would be running on gas when parked up and as for gas we carry one of those portable camping stoves they always sell in Asda at this time of year in the seasonal section and a couple of gas cartridges. Takes up no room and you can still make a brew if the gas bottle runs out.Even with lithium you will never keep up with an absorption fridge without the engine running.
good advice about the camping stove its lightweight and small enough so if we run out of gas we still have the stove :) I have been struggling to get gas bottles but then found shell on canal road it was about £26 for a 4kg bottle, and managed to get the bike sorted thank you :)
@@YorkshireCampers We have bought a refillable bottle, £16 to fill an 11kg bottle at Morrisons at five lane ends. There is a place on White Abbey Road cheaper but you cant get a motorhome in, but he does sell bottled gas as well so might be worth a look.
