This is by far the best cover of this song I have ever heard. This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song of all time. Saw Led Zeppelin in the 70's do this song live. Jimmy Page John Petrucci 2 of the best guitar players I have ever listened to.
I love Jimmy Page!! He's my favorite guitarist and my biggest inspiration for playing, but am I the only one who thinks Petruccis middle solo fucking rocked?
man i have a bootleg thats so much better than this one, maybe they put this one on cd because the sound qualitys so good.. but the one i have i get chills all over the place, maybe ill have to upload it
Thr orignal solo, if you referring to Zeppilen's, is much better than this, it's actualy powerful and emotiona;. Not wrecking on john here, but Jimmy's solo on this song? No contest my friend, good day to you.
Impo, Labrie's vocal expression in this cover is limited in one 'flat' shouting tone and plain melody cover lacking bluesy feeling required in this song, which makes listeners amazed by his comfortable(maybe familiar rather?) high note at the first time and gradually get sick of listening to it after several times. Even with the most talented players in the band, it sounds like the karaoke cover on the well-recorded MR tune as a whole.
you mean jimmy page, really crappy.. then you have no sense of musical prowess, this is good, but nothing comes close to jimmy page, the album version of this solo is probably the best album version solo of any led zeppelin song
Holy shit!!! James absolutely killed it here!

I was at this show. Nothing less than amazing!
The best of this was James Labrie!!! Awesome.
It's from summer 2003, in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom. Amazing show, it was like he was unveiling a new voice.
That was a great show.
I can't type...I'm full of goosebumps!!!!!!
Dream Theater Inspiration!
WOW! JLB - ABSOLUTELY AWESOME vocals! JLB \m/ DT \m/
labrie was still great... hope he could return to these gold-voiced times
I love Jimmy Page!! He's my favorite guitarist and my biggest inspiration for playing, but am I the only one who thinks Petruccis middle solo fucking rocked?

hey guys, i know Labrie really killed it on this track, but lets not forget who is god in Petrucci..... RIPPING it on this song.
The golden era of DT..
He completely surpassed this era in his quality over the last few years
5:33 HOLY FUCK LABRIE (=
@OreillyORLY I know this is eight months old, but jesus, is it so hard to believe that people express themselves in a different way?
This was fucking great I thought great whites version was good....but this is great
Sad to hear Petrucci get his allout shred head on, hes so much better when he holds back a bit...
I wish Michael Shenker was in Dream Theatre,,,lol
Pete Q. Michael Schenker in Dream Theater would be AWESOME....!
Oh no, the vocalist isn't accord to the band. How cool the first part.
This may be a week old, but no problem bro
I know this is a month old, but I'm trashed

@@ejRecording You just made my Sunday. Appreciate it, thanks!
6:03Aw fuck
Even petrucci would admit pages solo is better. ..of course it's the original but petrucci rips it no doubt
Jimmy page sarà stato un grande chitarrista ma John Petrucci è di un'altro pianeta ,grandi Dream theater

Have you heard the original solo? It was a crappy pretend shred.
nothing compared with Petrucci...

センスの無さがよく分かるカバーですね。
