Comments with blank spaces make it an easier viewing experience for some people, especially if they are using dark mode. I hope this helps to clear things up! EXAMPLE: Last night, my eyes were hurting, so I didn't want to go full screen (i was in a dark room), but I was finding the videos and comments super distracting. I wanted a blank space comment but couldn't find any, so I made my own.
