Gas grenades are a must if you're doing it solo! Also 4 sentry guns and 4 to 5 self revives minimum. if you need space you can drop stuff on top of a vehicle and drive it to the boss fight.. also turn on auto parachute in settings to avoid dying when the worm misses.
I died once like that. I will put auto parachute next time. But thankfully I got all the schem in the game by beating the worm with my bro. Only doing it if randoms want to do it. With just us 2, we did it 4-5 times
That's smart! I'll have to try that next time! :D I am also pretty sure I have auto parachute on... Not sure what the problem was in this situation though :/
@@Doughnuts because of that, so when he launches you and doesnt eat you, make sure to touch the boss when you falling then press whatever bottom to deploy your parachute.

That ending was rough! I heard having more people is a double sided sword, you have more people attacking the worm true, but apparently the worms health scales with each new person.
I dont think it's with each person, I think it's with every 3 people. So duos or 5s is easiest. But in my 4 worm fights there's been randoms waiting at the spawn everytime.

Yes, I just showed up when I saw a team of 3 were going to fight the worm. I had no USB or anything and I didn't join their team. I still got the reward
Being part of the attacks can give you something even if you are not part of the party. Worked for me, I came and got downed like 4 times and then they killed it. Got a legendary aether tool schematic recipe.
I was sweating that one out, I just knew you'd pull it out...shocking ending! I play solo all the time, I'd love to try to help out sometime. I've never beaten it either.
It’s possible I’ve done it solo about 4 times now you just need to have a crap ton of self revives max pack a punch and the double WSP guns with legendary tool also perk basically be well prepared for it
Me and my friend recruited the ENTIRE lobby except two people. It was a breeze, the health of the worm scales up with the size of the squad that started it I think, we did it as a trio with a random guy, I’ve done it twice and have gotten the Tier 3 pack schematic and the Legendary Aether tool schematic.

I couldn't believe what happened but a gorup of six of us managed to destory it in seconds...literally SECONDS from when it raised out of the ground. We dont know why apart from that we all put down 7-8 Sentry turrets EACH and also 4 people put jugganught on and then we shredded it! I was in such awe I forgot to clip it and i'm kicking myself because i didnt realise how hard this worm is because that was my first time fighting it 😮💨😂
So idk if it glitched out or if this was meant to be but I one shot it with a triple packed vr11 the exit and blueprints appeared but the worms health bar stayed and he went underground and you could still hear him. But he never reappeared
I always turn up after the Worm has spawned in so that the health doesn't scale up. Just makes it easier for everyone if people wait before going over to join in the fight. Also I would've been throwing Thermites at him that entire time. They probably don't do a bunch but in 10 minutes you could potentially stick the Worm with 40 Thermites which would do a decent chunk of damage collectively. Sometimes he pops out over an ammo cache but if both are free, its better to just hit the ammo refills in a circle as then you don't have to reload the gun. Good effort though Doughnuts
Tip: You can not exfil with the USB'S, so if you dont get get a response in the chat down yourself with Tomb stone and start a new match. Go to your stash and they will be in there.
Correct me if I’m wrong but things like your equipped self rez, gas mask, and like backpack and level 3 vest don’t get saved in the tombstone, so perhaps it’s better to exfil rather than killing yourself
How do you refill that gas mask? Does it automatically refill? Because i’m scared of dying to the storm but i don’t know if the gas mask refills itself
I beat the red worm today solo and I think the football/soccer field is the best spot. Not only are you close to level 2 but stations but there is a turret there also so with circuit boards it can keep the zombies and orbs off you along with dealing damage to the worm.
I love that ur not blasé about the difficulty. I think it’s awesome that ur obviously on a higher skill lvl but still worry about going up against a boss solo
My first red worm I got scorcher plans and legendary tool plans. 3rd time I got Flawless plans 🙏. The dog will revive you! It is a must so is gold armor! I did it all solo
I’m still working on getting schematics, it happened to me in two different occasion I get and extracted with the second level crystal schematic but it did not unlock the schematic for me so I can still not craft it. I don’t understand why, I’m 100% sure I got and extracted it correctly not once but twice but it still not appearing unlocked
If your team isnt the one to put the USBs in and you still help, do you still get the reward rift? or do you have to be teamed up with the squad that puts the USBs in?
Guys…. You can save so much time by putting the USB’s in your tombstone also, if you know how to exploit the tombstone mechanic you can essentially fight the worm every game 😅…. If everyone involved has 5 sentry guns each - it’s so easy regardless of where. I think this worm is the easiest one. If you know how to super charge wonder weapons also, then it’s the easiest thing ever
I would say that 2 players looks like a minimum, at least to have someone to revive us, because the dog will go down pretty fast as it grabs all the aggro right away. Plus the double damage will make the fight much quicker. I've done the fight 3-4 times and there was at least a team of 3 starting the fight so I joined em and it went fine every time. The worst time was when we were just 4 and I had a pap 2 weapon with blue rarity, went down and had to get revived. Every time I got the reward, it has always been the scorcher or DG-2 plans, nothing else. I still have all the tier 3 schematics to unlock...

😱 that was insane, that reminds me of what happened to me and my buddy yesterday, every time we do it with just us, something goes wrong, yesterday we had him down to like 5% with 1 min to go and all the sudden our screen goes black and got kicked out 🤦♂️ luckily everything we used we got back but it was a waste of a match lol

I wanted to help but I don’t have any of the good schematics to help fight it. So I didn’t reply but was hoping someone would help out. Sadly I didn’t see anyone else try to help him.

Funny enough, I was getting myself set up for the worm, got the USB's, self revives, killstreaks, and hellhound and tried several times to get people to join in through chat and saw players exfilling so I decided to chicken out last minute called in the exfil too didn't have kazimirs or golden plate but just for fun i put the USB's in those things just to see the worm at least and ran back just in time to catch my exfil nearby then i heard players saying woah someone's actually doing the worm and i go 🤦♂️ what are they deaf?

I would fight the worm and do Act missions but doing alot of them solo is frustrating at times. Ill just stick with maxing weapons and camp's. The Riot Shild and JOKR (Javilen) ate the most annoying to level I also think you were in a game..I remember the name and thought "Funny way to spell Doughnuts" Thought about going to go pick up the person in the storm but having nothing and not being too good at zombies while reviving downed players at exfil point. I left with them
i fought him and killed him. but during the fight i got downed, and the guy resing was attacked and knocked both of us up and ate us. then when he spit us out he tossed me under the map and perma killed me
Its much easier by using the Lockwood 680 this weapon is the absolute metabeast every zombie in Tear 3 is one Hit. Every mangler or mimik is one Hit, every jünger gets Max. four hits. The Red Worm is sooner down as with your used Weapons

I would say to shoot the orbs and engage in crowd control. Make use of your guns relevantly…

I'm so confused, how come when I equip the akimbo conversion on my swarms, they're never akimbo when I load into the game? Is it bugged for me?
Do not use the bundle with the anime girl in swarm, is bugged, if u select the normal akimbo WPS swarm not the blueprint it's fine

You don't die. A portal spawns and you can exfil through that. The gas will continue to damage you though so you can't stay forever

Its much easier by using the Lockwood 680 this weapon is the absolute metabeast every zombie in Tear 3 is one Hit. Every mangler or mimik is one Hit, every jünger gets Max. four hits. The Red Worm is sooner down as with your used Weapons

Quick fact every time you join a fresh game the first contract you do always gives you a self revive.
Not true. It has a higher chance, but I've had matches where I've done 15 contracts with no self revive drop on any of them.
all zombies are tier 3 in the gas so doesn't matter what zone you pick to fight the worm.
