As of 3/25/21 she has 16.7k, and 354,040 views on THIS video. Wow. this is the first one I've seen of hers too. I tried bujo last year for the first time, but not like this. Mine reflected reality. Lots of journaling and less pictures. But all the disasters are in there that I could fit. I got the murder hornet but somehow missed the cocaine pigs. I Need to look up that one. I still think of months by the holidays in them so for me June will always be fathers day even though mine is gone. It's a good time to remember him and last year I didn't feel like trying to figure out how to draw angry mobs rioting. Too bad this year is going to be worse. I'm sad for my children and all the young people
I love your channel because your spreads seem achievable without spending a ton of money on expensive stationery. as a bullet journal newbie, i really really appreciate that
this was the easiest one for me to understand. Doing each one (like halves) separately before the others really helped me I think. I've got 2 pages trying to figure it out and still not done. I thought I got an A5 but it's only 5 inch wide pages. I was a math major but this has completely thrown me off because I had an A5 last year. Still haven't really started it. At this point I should probably just pick a certain number of pages for each month and start with March. Or maybe April. I didn't even finish last year really. I have parts but the art isn't done.
Just a little tip: get yourself a cm ruler, it will save you so much time when setting up the pages since each dot is 0.5cm apart. Then you don’t have to count every single dot
Most rulers have both inches and centimeters, Even those construction worker roll out tape measures have that, and flexible tapes that sewing people use
I personally track chores by having a tiny 4x6 dot box in the upper corner of my bujo for that week with little circles by the things that need to get done so I can literally just check the circle once they've been done. Normally it's labeled "To Do" and it mostly just repeats but it helps me stay on track of things like vacuuming, dishes, etc. It's also small enough that you can move it around in the spread. If it was something I needed to do more frequently like dishes you can have small circles after the chore in the remaining space in the box and that will allow you to check it off each time it was done.
@@RyleeAutumn I think you could just add that to the box. Use the page you've already created as a reference and then once the monthly chore rolls around add it to the box during the week that works for you.
I like how clean and simple your setup is. I'm just starting with bullet journaling so this is really helpful. It looks great. And, it must be said, I really love your voice! It's like a fresh spring breeze. It's simply amazing.

Amanda Rach Lee has some absolutely gorgeous washi tapes in her store right now. Ali Express can be good, but it's also a bit hit & miss as to whether you'll get your order or not. If you go on Ebay you'll find the same washi tapes on sale from sellers in China. It's the same products coming from the same place, but if you buy from Ebay you're better protected against no-show non-deliveries etc. You can find a ton of them really cheaply and lots of the sellers do offers like buy 4 get a 5th one free. I also really love the cornflower blue & blush colour combo myself. It got really popular in the planner sticker community about 2 or 3 years ago (I think Pantone even named the to colours together as their 'colour of the year' if I remember correctly), but it never gets old for me. I love how you executed the theme using those colours in here. Instant sub! Have a lovely Christmas!
I found some really neat slim washi tape from Walmart that include a container like a Scotch tape so that you can cut it off without scissors. It's really pretty and inexpensive for what you get.
I so enjoyed watching this video. The set up is so cute but simple and I may try it as a monthly. I have spent most of today pre~planning my 2021 planner and it won’t even arrive until Wed. Can’t wait to see more and I even loved your background music, it was so soothing.

IMO Etsy is a great place to look for really awesome washi tapes - and you get to support a small business!! I always look for shops which are UK based but forever coming across great picks from US and Canada and being frustrated about shipping costs vs tape costs -i'm sure you'll find something beautiful and unique in no time!
Gotta be honest, generally I don't like prettified bullet journals, mainly because I don't have the handwriting and skills that gals like you have, but this was very relaxing to watch and gave me some motivation and inspiration to also start my own version of a bullet journal again. It'll probably be very bare bones and "minimalist", but it keeps my head sorta organized. Thank you!

Ha! I like how you simplified the future log creation process. I spent half an hour flailing aroung with my ruler to create neat little boxes but your method is so much easier and cleaner. Should've watched this before I did mine hehe :) Your handlettering is so nice!!! The squiggly letters would make perfect cutting dies! :-) I like the colour scheme, too. I personally like to include books and travels pages as well to keep track of what I read and the places I visit during the year. It's nice look back on these at the end of the year.

I like the theme. It's really simple. I don't tend to Doodle much, though I would enjoy it. It's just that I need all the space I can because I pack my pages full. My biggest happy spot are the color schemes. I like the one you chose for your setup, so I will probably use that for January. As far as what spreads I use, I definitely use the year at a glance and typically have to write out 2 years because my journals typically last about 15 or 16 months. In terms of extra spreads, I have a period tracker one just for health, a body tracker which is about measurements and weight, I tried goals and spelled out ideas under each heading but this year just kicked my butt with that. I do have a house cleaning list that's basically a grid where I can check mark off all of the big cleaning items per month or by week but I'm thinking of changing that to a different system for next year. I have a spot check for gift ideas for my family and a list of books to read. Most of my focus, though, is my planning Pages for the month and by week since I work from home and I like keeping my task lists all in one spot. Sorry it's so long, but I definitely enjoyed some of your ideas for setting up your Journal.

I am also from Canada and I get a lot of my washi tapes from Amazon! They have a huge selection and can usually get quite a few rolls for a reasonable price. I’ve also bought washi tape from Etsy, PaperGeekCo and the honey b shop!
I live in Canada too, i found that the clearance bins at Michaels were always great, also if you see a set you love dont forget to check what coupons Michaels has out! Normally you can get 40-55% off a single item!

I actually have little sticker tabs I got from etsy to mark where the different months are in my bujo, if the index isn't working for you😉 Love your set up!
Dot Grid and Grid Spacing Guides are super helpful... I use a different layout but there's enough variation for everyone to find sth helpful. Washi-Tape - I am in Germany and I can find gazillions of patterns of tapes on Amazon.... or on Kawaii Pen Shop, they have nice stuff as well. Quality is pretty much the same so no need to order expensive stuff.
Michaels actually has some cool washi tapes, but its easy to get carried away and then have your wallet cry hahah. I suggest you look at them to see what you would like to use. Amazon has some cool bundles for cheaper and sometimes on Prime so you could get them quickly enough!

I like the theme. It's really simple. I don't tend to Doodle much, though I would enjoy it. It's just that I need all the space I can because I pack my pages full. My biggest happy spot are the color schemes. I like the one you chose for your setup, so I will probably use that for January.
As far as what spreads I use, I definitely use the year at a glance and typically have to write out 2 years because my journals typically last about 15 or 16 months. In terms of extra spreads, I have a period tracker one just for health, a body tracker which is about measurements and weight, I tried goals and spelled out ideas under each heading but this year just kicked my butt with that.
I do have a house cleaning list that's basically a grid where I can check mark off all of the big cleaning items per month or by week but I'm thinking of changing that to a different system for next year. I have a spot check for gift ideas for my family and a list of books to read. Most of my focus, though, is my planning Pages for the month and by week since I work from home and I like keeping my task lists all in one spot.

I am also from Canada and I get a lot of my washi tapes from Amazon! They have a huge selection and can usually get quite a few rolls for a reasonable price. I’ve also bought washi tape from Etsy, PaperGeekCo and the honey b shop!

For the front cover, if you want a design, patches go on nicely and it takes paint marker and sharpie well for cover designs.
Great tips! I tried a little DIY iron-on but it didn’t work so I’ll have to try the paint marker idea 😊

Speaking as a person who was browsing through 17-20 videos for spreads at some point I looked for pages as layout inspiration or new spreads that will increase my productivity so time stamps would be great :)) Hope you take my suggestion !!!

Dot Grid and Grid Spacing Guides are super helpful... I use a different layout but there's enough variation for everyone to find sth helpful. Washi-Tape - I am in Germany and I can find gazillions of patterns of tapes on Amazon.... or on Kawaii Pen Shop, they have nice stuff as well. Quality is pretty much the same so no need to order expensive stuff.

Michaels actually has some cool washi tapes, but its easy to get carried away and then have your wallet cry hahah. I suggest you look at them to see what you would like to use. Amazon has some cool bundles for cheaper and sometimes on Prime so you could get them quickly enough!
