Former Kenya sevens Coach Benjamin Ayimba dies at Kenyatta Hospital in Nairobi

- President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga have paid tribute to former Kenya Sevens rugby head coach Benjamin Ayimba who passed away Friday evening after being hospitalised for several months due to cerebral malaria. World Rugby chairman Bill Beaumont and the Kenya Rugby Union chairman Oduor Gangla have also eulogized Ayimba who led Kenya to its maiden world rugby sevens series title in 2016 and the Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro Brazil.

@@MrMaboboz God is a Spirit and he brought us all to this Earth for a good reason which we all give in a different way, we will miss our brother and may our lord give the family strength in this difficult time ,my only brother passed away some years back and I felt as though he was my only hope , God gives us hope and opens ways to help us, thanks and have a good night.

I remember that moment of pride in 2016 when 7s Shujaa won the main cup against Fiji. Ben made us pride in Kenyan rugby.
