Well, it depends. In the case of this track, I started by playing around with an idea in Ableton, already thinking about the PO33. Then I moved on to the PO33 and that's when I started working on the song's structure, sequencing and sound design directly from it. Other times I might start working directly from the PO33 or PO32 and even do some resampling between POs without any DAW. Other times I might start by playing around with the PO32 and Microtonic. It depends on my mood at that moment. Almost always the real fun happens whenever I pass the idea to the POs. And when that happens, the initial draft and sound ends up being different (for the better IMO) ✨

I just signed a track with a smallish label and want to ran it through my PO33, showcase it and switch mid breakdown from the pocket operator track to the real one, in order to promote it. What do you think about it? It would be for a reel/tiktok/short.
