Great video, I did buy the radio. I set up the arming using both momentary switches. I thought it was safer. You can go backwards on the pages by holding down the middle button instead of a short press.
I just got this radio, and set up my arm switch on the momentary, and it was super simple...actually set it up to use both momentaries for arming, so that way if one is pressed, it won't arm or disarm till both are pressed at the same time.... And so far, I do like it! Great radio, I'm very happy with it. Thanks for tye review Justin!
I have the jumper t lite and I'm really happy with it. Would be cool if it had a momentary toggle for doing combat though, would love to see what that's like.
What do you mean ? Like press it the momentary switch to change to angle mode for recovery in a combat tangle crash with other combat drones ? Sometimes up and down directions of gravity are confusing in the goggles on a hill or trees so angle mode can reset like a robo pilot on a button . I saw branches and leaves twirling onscreen and thought i crashed 3 times but it kept bouncing til i hit angle for a second . Then i got out of there .
@@rocketshipsandrobotsinterg2184 I mean there's no momentary switches on the tlite. They have the rc combat kits but I want to be able to hit a button to shoot instead of flipping toggle switches
First let me say happy 8 year anniversary man👍this vid couldn't have came out at a better time lol I am losing my mind on deciding on a daily driver I have the tx12 and I love the size but with elrs making its mark I kinda want a radio with it already built in and the jumper you mentioned with the 1watt sounds very tempting i was leaning towards the zorro since it has elrs built in also and then just have a crsf module on the back to have the best of both worlds but did I hear you say something about the module you have on the back of that jumper being a elrs/crsf together 🤔 I know frsky is going to be phased out soon enough so I am going crazy deciding on a radio match up lol great vid as always man✌
Don't get it confused. Its just an ELRS module. The External protocol setting is CRSF / ELRS inside the radio settings. You can only use ELRS on this module. Crossfire tracer or other wise for TBS Rx. :) Grab that 1W~!
I've been waiting for a new gamepad style radio ever since I got my X-lite years ago. Almost got the T-lite....then kinda wanted this one, but I'm still holding out. That momentary switch thing kills this one for me. Also, I'm pretty sure that ELRS requires you to use AUX1 as your arm switch. I've never had to try to change OpenTX AUX channels, but I'm assuming you can change what AUX a switch is, maybe? Like can you tell OpenTX to use the 3 position switch as AUX1? Anyway, Jumper almost had me with this one.....I'll be waiting for them to make the momentary an actual switch. Thanks Justin!
i recently got the tpro with integrated elrs, and it seems like jumper heared the feedback about the missing 2 position switch, as now there are 2. Between the on/off switch and the scroll wheel (1 on each side)
Not sure why this isn't being mentioned more, but a momentary button is great for beeper. I don't keep my beeper on constantly, I don't want to risk hurting my motors (which is theoretically possible) ... and you can use the right one for turtle mode. Disarm, left momentary for beeper, right momentary to turn on turtle mode, rearm, flip - release. Easy peasy.

For my information , how can you hurt your motors with the beeper ? I'm not sure I understand how you setup the various buttons ? Which button do you setup to arm/disarm ?
Question about the jumper t-pro,,,i'm looking to get it,and i'm wondering if you can tell me if the integrated elrs also has multy protocol in it ?i dont know much about transmitters and its not clear on the sellers web site if multi protocol in all t-pros
Hi! Good video, since you’re flying helicopters, It would have been cool to have a few words about it… I can’t not use the momentary switch, since I need the left 3 positions switch for idle up 1 and 2, and the right 3 positions switch for my rates… How would you set this tx up for an helicopter? Thanks.. 😎😎😎
The jumper t pro does has a back button. I seen on a video you must Long press/hold to go back. Im thinking of getting one. Do you know if it will control my Betafvp meteor75 drone, its SPI Frsky & my goosky s1 helicopter S-FHSS? Will it do both of these?
Great review. I kinda like the original T-Lite a bit better due to the switches. I use the T12 Pro, but have been entertaining the thought of the T-lite for a long time. With ELRS it changes things for the game controller style radios for sure. 👍
Ok so I'm trying to use the 3 way switch for arming but I have set it as a 2 way switch. In the bottom position it is not armed but when I move it to the center it's armed. I want to make it work only in the fully up or fully down position and I can't get it to work like that, I'm sure there is a way to do it. I have contacted support but no one ever replies.
Maybe? But my advice is don’t use it at all. Just use the 3 position switch on the left as your arm switch. The momentary switch is bound to give you a accidental arm! Bardwell suggests moving the throttle stick up after disarm. But I would avoid the momentary switch as an arm switch. - Thank me later. 👍🏻
@@dronecamps Yes I agree with You. Anyway we can map that momentary switches to something less harmful like beepers, blackbox recording, etc. , so they are not so useless)))
Do you like the baby ape $79 3 inch as a spare like tinyhawk ? Or does tinyhawk just run forever ? Emax tinyhawk is so precision quiet it makes my other drones seem like crap
Wow you made sticky arm switch 30 seconds short explaination . How about acro on the momentary press button so you can panic release in a tangle tree branch . My jumper tpro the battery compartment springs come loose in backpack travel .
What about using both momentary switches as a pre-arm + arm switch? You have to hold one pressed and then press the other one...it would be pretty safe.
@@dronecamps yeah dude I agree with you, that would be way simpler. I’m waiting for my t-pro to come from China, banggood got me waiting by the mailbox again!

Good to know you can use and setup both. Seems safer. Still I would avoid those. But that’s me! It’s a sweet radio!

You can put your beta fpv lite tx into the jumper T-PRO case if you got a micro lr module adaptor on the back to save buying nano modules .
