I was confuse how CPU and GPU work together

CPU is now called Microprocessor chip, and GPU is called Graphics card.
In late 70-80s GPU was inside a Microprocessor chips, but later after evolution of games n animation, GPU was separated from CPU chips, from 90s onwards there is separate chip for GPU in motherboard, that is called Video card or Graphics Card.
