When you’ve grown old single and you know the hurt it has caused it is very difficult to listen to young pastors who felt the need for themselves to be married and have a family. It’s always so easy to tell someone else how blissful their singleness will be for a lifetime. The desire for a spouse and family goes with you into old age and being unfulfilled it will cause suffering.

I keep thanking God for genuine friends and family members as I moved to a new state on a God-move yet 1 1/2 years ago. Happily married people have NO idea what it's like to live alone, eat/sleep alone, wishing for others to connect and laugh with, live off 1 paycheck, etc. 😃Let's just keep speaking Joy, Peace, Contentment, Loving Fun Ppl for Consistent Connection, Bday/Holiday parties & a Genuine Loving Christian Spouse. Hallelujah in JC name. In general, I do love this guy and his wife as pastors💞
I am 100% guilty of believing these lies. My biggest error being I did expect my spouse to give me security and complete me. In the end we are getting a divorce and now he has so much resentment towards me because of it. I now need to become Single & Secure. This online church has been such a huge blessing to me in this difficult time
Hi I love the analgy of the extension cord. Its not a lifeline, and this is exactly how the world works. Seek Christ and what he promised us, to be our life line, and not a Extension cord. What would you say to a 62 year old single guy that has been praying & searching for a Godly wife since the age of 24 (…that’s 38 years & counting) all to no avail??? 2. Why is it that you conveniently forgot to address the sexual needs of singles???Contrary to what most married people think, singles do have them as we (just like marrieds) live in human bodies during our time on Earth.
I’m just shy of your age and in the same situation. I think that it’s an issue that the church has no answers for and I don’t think that we can expect one.

I was watching this yesterday as I was visiting my sisters home and I purchased my book and one for my sister. I've been w God for 21 years single and joyful but your message was amazing. I've been to your Church w Peter Barcelo who serves there in the parking lot. My sister is going through a divorce and crushed so this message was deep as a great testimony of trusting God after 10 years of marriage. I was not aware of Vous Church you tube live. I asked her and she told me about TH-cam. Your message was impacting.

Aww man, Pastor Rich! I don’t know what I can say, every message this year has been a word I have needed to hear. And this one has undone me! Man I'm struggling in this been in the wrong relationships lose myself to make women happy then wen it's over im tryna pick up the pieces I'm 32 never been married all 4 relationships wasted yrs for them to cheat and leave me for someone else I do have my two daughters and still rooted in god so I'm ok but Im jus surviving on autopilot don't even wanna date the last 2yrs I can't even talk to women anymore wondering wats wrong wit me.

But if you want another answer I can tell you just think that IT's the best time for having "me time" and discover yourself and what you want. When you get married you don't have the same opportunities and time that you have being single.

Yesterday as I was listening to “Jireh…” The worship singer started saying: “When I have you, I have everything… When I have Jesus, I have everything.” I stopped and really listened. I started worshipping at that moment. I thanked God that I DO have everything. I have eternal life. Even though I have THREE failed marriages!! It changed the trajectory of my day. And this sermonGod led me to today is changing my life. If you are NOT happy, content, peaceful, while as a SINGLE person, you will be “putting a ring in your problem” …and my problem has been ME. Around 26th minute, You say about obedience to God, and I cannot agree more! Obedience.... to everything GOD says. To all 10 commandments. And as for most of the things I agree... now I got little disappointed. Here's why. You tried to say be obedient to God in everything, but on the other hand you are not doing it too. What about 4th commandment? The Sabbath. You celebrate Sunday, which is not a Bible thing. There is no mention in the Bible that we should take sunday as a special day. The Bible speaks that there is only one Holy day, and it is Sabbath.
Bible NT clearly says "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath." Colossians 2:16
