I could listen to any conversation with you Jen! I’m really glad that you have your own show- because I want more of YOUR content instead of a few moments as a guest on other channels. Thank you for helping educate us on crime, law, and justice!
Kirk Nurmi is one of my favs. Love his input even if I disagree. Hes very logical and calm. Love his voice too. Lol. Great IG as well. I love your channel Ms Coffindaffer !! Thank you
My friend did a documentary on Casey Anthony and he became convinced of her innocence. I keep waiting for season 2, for them to surprise us with proof of guilt. The attorney did a great job.
You need to go back and watch the hearing where Prior asked to get off. Neither the court nor Prior could find any DP qualified lawyer in Idaho. There's a shortage and with the other Idaho case they asked all over the state. The judge said the court asked and Prior listed all the attempts he made too. I knew then this was problematic.
I'm not sure what Mr. Nurmi means when he says "most people" would choose death over life in prison. Is this "most people" everyday people not in prison or are the people asked solely inmates sentenced with life?
I think that he is defending the process and the constitution. Under our system of government everyone is entitled to a defense which includes preventing overreach by the government.
Some victims in life die tortured and a long slow death and there are concerns about DP being barbaric ? My concern is if someone was wrongly convicted for whatever reason Thank you for your interview and knowledge ❤
Nurmi contradicted himself. He can’t say serving life is more painful than being executed and at the same time say serving life is the more humane option. Logic?
Is the death penalty a deterrent to capital crimes? A lot of plea deals are taken to avoid it. So perhaps it could have a deterrent effect. Is it really more expensive to pursue the death penalty than to house prisoners for long terms? Need facts to support. And if as Nurmi claims, it is more painful to serve life in prison then to be executed, then how is serving life the more humane option?
My former brother-in-law (retired police officer from Tacoma) is a BS graduate from the same department at WSU that BK was working on his PhD in. My niece was a full-time student in a sorority in an off-campus apartment with fellow sisters at WSU when all of this went down. Thankful that she’s completing her teacher education online now, far from the area. It’s so sad, so many students at UofI and WSU were interrupted by C🦠, then these 4 murders. He does remind me of Ted B, he was possibly on his way to becoming a serial killer-IF he is actually guilty. I think he is but I want him to receive a fair, just trial. I think a change of venue is necessary to a larger county such as where the Vallow-Daybell cases have been/are being heard.
Touch DNA. Doesn’t mean he touched the knife, sheath directly. That knife sheath is very suspicious because it wasn’t found right away. And in such a gruesome crime scene, why wasn’t there any blood on it? Very simple it was planted. The car, the one on video has a sunroof and has very dark tinted windows, neither of which Bryan’s car. Absolutely not one speck of victim DNA on Brian, in his parents home, in his apartment, in his car or in his office. There wasn’t even a hair of any of the victims. It is already been proven and confirmed by the state that he did not stalk any of the victims. Plus now there is information in his phone that could put him in a different location, Southwest of Moscow, the morning of the murders when they were occurring. What about the four people that were running at the Banfield from the direction of the crime scene to the frat house? In my opinion, I am not convinced he is guilty, but as it’s supposed to be, innocent until proven guilty. It would be a shame if an innocent man was put to death for something he didn’t do. The state is squirming in their seat because they are worried . I think the biggest issue is that if BK didn’t do this then who did. That would mean if there is still a killer or killers still walking in the streets. There is no way that he could’ve done this alone in such little time. And guess what. There is no house to go back to for evidence, if BK is found innocent. The house should never have been tore down after the trial.
I still think either he had help or been set up.. his drug dealer literally lived down the road from kings road and so it would make sense he always has his phone ping if hes always there to buy stuff also thats a party neighborhood and those girls are popular… him being there and also following them on ig and dming them wooldnt be creepy., if thats creepy everyone on IG is a creep… I want the family get justice but this needs to be 100000% right..
Also - death penalty is just not enough when you brutally take away anyones life.. however they should not be allowed groups or ipads if their crime is murder. I also wonder what happened to the school shooter nicolas cruz , call me crazy but the fact he went in the school did all that then got out of the school like a trained spy i just feel like they have hid his location to the people so they could put him in the military.

I appreciate the critical thinking and expression of both Jen and Kurt.
That is such a great interview with Mr Nurmi. He has such a calm demeanor for a defense attorney.

Waoh what really resonated with me is " it's justice system not vengeance system ". So very true Mr Nurmi & in other cases.
My friend did a documentary on Casey Anthony and he became convinced of her innocence. I keep waiting for season 2, for them to surprise us with proof of guilt. The attorney did a great job.
Such an insightful guest.

If both found guilty. I think they will. They should or why have the dp
Wait, what? Nurmi believes killing is wrong yet he defends killers! This guy is unbelievable!

I could never support the death penalty. Really good interview. Loved your guest.

Everything Nurmi says is correct. I hope that sparkles with you. ✨
