Without knowing it - I was at their last concert with Vortex and Mustis. The best concert I've been at in my life. To me personally - the band has been going downhill ever since...
I have the weirdest story with "Interdimensional Summit". I had never heard it before. Suddenly, my phone started playing it, but I couldn't see it on Spotify, nor on TH-cam, nowhere. I put on some random song on Spotify but the song wouldn't stop playing. I fucking loved it and I was sooo irritated that I didn't see the title anywhere! Then, my boyfriend managed to find an app that listens to songs and recognizes them, and that's how I could save this amazing song. But I had to restart my phone for it to go away!! Sickest ever, it was like a call from above or something. I genuinely don't know where it came from!!

Eonian is actually a really good album. The musicanship on this album is absolutely insane. BTW : ICS Vortex will never come back. Get over it peasants.

I have just got into Dimmu over the last couple of months, listen to them every day, bought and watched forces and the invaluable, do they have Vortex and the choir singing together on Progenies at this gig, awesome concert, the guitars sounds brilliant.

I know that's not likely to happen, but just imagine if Marco Hietala, ex Nightwish bass player and singer joined Dimmu Borgir now? xD he is back with his musical career and he's a bass player which also is an amazing singer, I really can imagine him on Dimmu Borgir, but I don't know if he likes Black Metal, but it is probably, after all Nighwish is a Symphonic Power Metal band, and Dimmu Borgir, a Symphonic Black Metal band, I know absolutely different Metal genres, but one thing in common, Classical Music, all those massive orchestrations both band has, so I can easily see Marco Hietela being a Dimmu Borgir fan, but I know, that probably will never happen, but that would be EPIC! And I'm not saying that would make the band going back to it's past tracks on Mustis and Vortex era, but that will be a hell of an addiction to Dimmu Borgir and for a new keyboard player I don't know, but maybe Sverd, Arcturo's founder and main songwriter, and the band is also from Norway... and Finland is very close to Norway... just saying... haha #bringMarcoToDimmu lol
Marco might be too old, since he is around 60 years old. One other option might be Einar from Leprous - used to play live for Emperor and is versatile enough, plus he's younger, for extensive touring.

I know...sure a pic here and there but when I'm at major events or concerts I want to experience the show "Live" and be a part of it and just savor the memories that I saw with my own eyes and just enjoy those memories as time goes on. That's why youtube and dvd's are made to rewatch what we saw live only in a different format. I'm so glad you noticed this as well. Drives me crazy. You spend good money for the show...at least watch the show...right. A+++
They need to bring back Nick Barker, Mustis, and I.C.X. Vortex. They are not as good now as they were with them. Just my opinion. Misanthropy and Armageddon were incredible albums.

I might just not have heard it in the mix, but I was waiting for the machine-gun triple bass pedal to hit near the end of The Chosen Legacy, and it didn't even go into a blast beat. I guess Daray can't hold up Hellhammer's drumming!
