If you do all of the Dr. Joopy puzzles with the Gus gun, Gus figures out that he’s Douglas, and then you get to shoot Dr. Joopy dead on the pipe. When you get to the boss fight, instead of fighting Douglas, you’re technically fighting Douglas’s suit, and all of his voice lines become robotic.
