- Since we were SO excited for all of the 2017 D23 announcements from the Parks & Resorts Panel, we wanted to talk through some of our reactions to the news as well as our crazy D23 theories and thoughts in more of a podcast format!

It's fun to just speculate about things! I can't wait to see how right we are!
They aren't going to skip over the security with the Minnie vans. They are heading towards everyone going through metal detectors to enter every park. It's a good thought but I don't think it's practical. I do agree that the Minnie vans need something complimentary to make it more magical & worth it.

I think they'll definitely find their place, and I really do think that they'll drop that price to $15 before too long. Unless they're hugely popular at $20 in which case I'm sure that they won't!!
What's remarkable about Star Wars Galaxy's Edge announcement is that they were able to fit 14 acres into the Very limited space in Anaheim! They literally used every last little bit of space left to fit it in...and Anaheim's land is about 5 months ahead of Floridas, based on comparing what I see in the construction update vlogs compared to how far along the Anaheim version is
Disney is a giant game of Tetris at this point, they're definitely masters at maximising the space!

On the cruise ship note: I might be totally wrong but I'm sure a sponsored post appeared on my Facebook feed from Disney Cruises about their UK cruises starting in Dover and going around the British Isles, I'll need to have a look at what different cruises there are!

You guys will not be disappointed with the Ratatouille ride!!! Went on for the first time a couple of weeks back and it was better than i ever could have imagined. Soooo good!

This was fun! :) We are still saving up to go to WDW someday....hopefully by that time, all of the things announced on D23 for WDW will all be finished haha :p Very looking forward to the Tron coaster and Toy Story land!
Star Wars hotel is supposed to be in walking distance of DHS, with a special entrance for hotel guests, so it might be somewhat of an extension...if it really achieves the experience of a Star Wars LARP experience, it will cost a FORTUNE but people will PAY IT GLEEFULLY!
It's all very exciting! I hope Toy Story land is open when you go as I’d love to hear your views on it before we go in September. I enjoyed watching your thoughts on D23, I even had a glass of wine too! I also think that this is just the tip of the iceberg with what Disney has planned and maybe once these things are underway then they'll announce more. I'm most excited for the Mission Space restaurant, it sounds awesome. Like Ash, I remember The Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas and the attractions like Qarks bar and the Borg attraction and the staff dressed up as characters, that was pretty awesome for it’s time and immediately thought of that when they announced the Star Wars Hotel.
I can't wait to see Disney approach and exceed that level of immersion - they're already so good at it that I'm genuinely so excited to see where they go from here.
Random: I keep seeing a Hidden Mickey in Ash's chest hair, LOL
on another video from the guy in charge of stars wars land he said that how well you fly the falcon will give you comments around the park, so if you do well you might get gifts and tokens, but if you do really bad and damage the ship then you may get a bounty on your head or un-welcome comments. I think as its a galactic market there may be dark items you can buy wich may effect your experience. All of this would be done with the magic band, and apparently the characters are going to anamatronics, so they pick up the info from your bands and get triggered to wake up (or serve you in the cantina) by the bands as well.
MIssion Space: Orange to get new video to make more relatable to true Mars travel
Mission Space: Green as they said to be more like a Soarin' style ... so Orange and Green will almost be two entirely different experiences.
Mission Space Restaurant will be sit-down but I am sad that we will now officially lose the Wonders of Life pavilion for this restaurant :( While I love the restaurant idea, but I was truly hoping that the pavilion would have been repurposed as an attraction not a restaurant.
Said when looking at the Concept Art that the Innovations buildings on both sides of the fountain will be gone and replaced with greenery :(
With the Gondola system, I am cautious of the fact that because of the connection points, I believe you would need to do multiple transfers. If the Gondolas stop at EPCOT, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Riviera, and Hollywood Studios, I doubt they could create this as a seamless track so I would think you would need to go from, for example, EPCOT to Caribbean, then get off and transfer to a system that goes to Caribbean Beach, then transfer at Riviera and then do a final transfer to go to Hollywood Studios. I could be wrong, but that seems like it would be more doable, but not more convenient, time wise.
With the Minnie-Vans ... the only thing I would wonder is if they ban Uber/Lyft how would they accommodate an off-site location from Disney?
I think that yeah they won't outright ban Uber/Lyft, but I do think some restrictions or changes might be coming. It's definitely a shame about Wonders of Life, I'm glad they're expanding and re-purposing but it's definitely a shame to lose that area.
I've been on the frozen ride at Epcot and the ride itself isn't to do with Norway (apart from the fact the movie is based on a similar place) but the queue is decorated as Norway and has some posters and bits of information on Norway and the snow queen etc❤️xx (also I absolutely HATE the mission space ride lol it might be to do with the fact I'm scared of space but ya know)
I will still go on Frozen but I just wish it had more historical references in the actual ride. I don't mind actual space but Mission Space makes me feel so sick. Maybe I should try the green version this time.

the 4th ride left in HS is Star Tours.......it sux they only have 4 rides but they have 2 great night time shows......our trip coming up we are planning on going there at night JUST for Fantasmic & Star Wars fireworkds

Hi both love the vlog total agree about what you said about Epcot it looks if they are going the wrong way with certain added rides I think all films for each country should be updated now, even though I still like them especially the French film the music in this one is awesome but times have changed gutted about the great movie ride we are going in October and was looking forward riding this again but looks if it's not to be 😣 keep the vlogs coming 🙋👍👍

Bi annual is every 2 years; Semi annual is every 6 months
Apparently Biennial is every 2 years, but biannual is twice a year! So very confusing!!
Ive heard the Star wars hotel is going to be $1,000 per person for a 2 day "event"
That wouldn't surprise me and that's definitely actually what I'm kind of hoping for. Any less and I don't think they could really do the kinds of immersive incredible experiences I'm picturing!

It's definitely a shame, but I do think that ride was a little bit dated and either needed a lot of love or a big change.

wait why didnt they fully own disney paris?
They owned a majority stake, but parts of the shares were owned by holding companies (likely as part of the original financing/investment for the park). They now own 85.7% and are seemingly much more willing to invest more time/effort into the park now because of it.
